..................i don’t know??????????????? oh my god, this is one hell of an au, though i can imagine... things would be much worse without batman around - he did have positive influence on many people and their lives and i’m not sure if someone could replace this in a continuity where those people never met the bat.

i can imagine someone else would take matters in their hands eventually, the question is... who? who would become gotham’s first vigilante if batman was never around? kate kane’s backstory as batwoman revolves around her meeting with batman. robins are just a side piece for the bat, so are the batgirls.

one thing i’m sure is... jason todd would probably be a softer person. death hardens people, and i’m assuming he never had a chance to die at the hands of the joker.
