Hope youre alright, op! I hope you dont feel pressured to post anything, especially if you've been having a bad day, week, month or year. I hope you can relax and get your strength back, in all aspects, including art and the like, because it is the holidays and you more than deserve some time to rekindle with your creativity and just have time off from worrying about wondering what you should post next. Personally, im happy to wait for something great from you rather than see you force yourself.

I was actually drawing a couple days ago! :D Which was absolutely amazing, because I don’t think I’ve managed to draw anything since September?? So finally being able to draw something, even a doodle, is very, very exciting. 😊🤩💕💕

I want to cry now cause I scrolled through your art tag and as I scrolled in my mind i was comparing naked deadlock to naked drift and how different he looks and then sweet old man ratch appeared and my brain said "ppl around them will never understand how much drift deserves the love ratch gives cause they'll never understand how much of nothing in worth or in life or in love he had before ratch and his big belly and tight hugs and the heart so so full of love thats all for drift" and now i shall cry 😭😭😭

:D Thanks for the notes, guys! I love imagining these two characters sharing space on the Vis Vitalis. I mean, you’ve got Velocity, whose defining characteristic is arguably her averageness. She does her best, but she has no particular gifts, no extraordinary backstory, or even a deep well of experience to draw upon. She’s just a young person making her way and trying hard and gradually succeeding, but not without setbacks and frustrations. (It took her ten tries to pass her MCATs!) In this sense she’s probably the most relatable character in the whole series. Then you’ve got Thunderclash: famously courageous, effortlessly heroic, charismatic, intelligent, gracious, basically flawless. About as far, in other words, from dogged, novice Velocity as you can imagine. Yet Thunders would have trusted her and respected her and valued her as highly as anyone else in his crew, because that’s the kind of captain he is. It’s just... yeah. It’s wholesome.
