Half German and half Russian, Cassandra Klein was born in London, England. From the day she walked out of the womb, she was trained to be a mercenary by her single mother. Her father had been a mercenary himself, but had split the moment the his partner turned out to be pregnant, and the woman had worked on her own to care for and raise the child. She grew up fast and she grew up mean, strong, and powerful, becoming the most fierce solo assassin that the country had to offer. Seductive and sassy, clever and ever self-serving, it wasn’t long before she was found by and taken up by the League. She rose up through the ranks quickly and, after secretly killing her own master, she had been given the rank of master, becoming one of the first female masters in the history of the league.
