I'm following in my friend @justsimplyspace's footsteps and doing a year long OC challenge! Over the course of the year I'll make 125 separate OC drawings! To do so I'll be employing the help of a randomizer and drawing whatever OC it gives me!

This first one is Arcus, one of the main protagonists of my future (HOPEFULLY) webcomic, The Digalad! He's the High Mage of the Dastota kingdom, who also happens to be a sphinx in disguise! I'd love to talk about him more but that's spoilers for the webcomic 👀

So this is the first time I'd ever drawn him. Eugh He's come such a long way honestly, plus his lore is entirely different from how he was when this old piece was drawn

The dark beast here is named Indominus and no longer exists! He was split into two separate characters way down the line, Deldemos and Keliir.

OC Challenge Day 5, the randomizer picked Arcus's mom, Rosuria!

She's the first character I've had to design and name completely from scratch! I had her colors and a vague idea of a name in my head already, but this was finally my excuse to put it all together in a cohesive character.

But anyway, she's a loving and sweet mother who wants the best for her children!

Up next in the OC challenge, we have Finch!

Finch is such a fella <3 He's my cowboy archetype character in a world without guns. So he gets to use a longbow instead! He's got his fair share of secrets, and has gone through great lengths to keep them hidden. He works as a traveling mercenary and bounty hunter and works with two other men, Allester and Achille!

He started off as an rp character for a world that doesn't quite exist anymore.. Kinda glad he's improved from there haha

The vibes are definitely different.. There is legit NOTHING in this ref that is the same save for his gender and last name.

OC Challenge, the randomizer picked Blanche!

She's in development limbo for the most part, I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to end up doing with her... We'll see, but here she is!

OC challenge, up next we have Wendy!

She's one of my older OCs, having originally been part of a futuristic sci-fi story. She went through a pretty huge story transformation since then, and now she's a barmaid in a coastal human city!

The angel wings are because she's DEAD. In her original story her only role was the be someone's love interest and then DIE. I don't know if that still remains the case but at the very least she's got hobbies now.

OC challenge 3, the randomizer picked Achradel!

Achradel is one of the gods of Gal'Huria, having dominion over the sky, weather, and winds. The funky little worm in his mouth is what he uses to communicate, and controls the larger body like a personal meat shield. But it's all.. Him? Idk if that makes sense.

There's one of the oldest renditions of him.. Ew barf barf gross. However he has taken quite a big step back in lore, acting more as a background figure.
