apparently the bbc sherlock cast has said some rude things abt the elementary cast as well… makes me rlly sad cos it just encourages the other fandom to dislike this one :/

I live in the UK. It's pretty terrifying to see that there's no free healthcare, a terrible minimum wage + debates on abortion still going! The racism (particularly antiblackness) + police brutality is very shocking. However, I think that we can learn something about the way in which many activists in the USA are actively confronting racism and police brutality and having important conversations on race. It's something much more 'swept under the carpet' in the UK
Yes, I am constantly and completely impressed with all of the activist and resistance that has been going on since Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson last August. It’s been inspiring!
