... until Franny speaks up
"Okay I picked!" standing on her chair
"Picked what honey?" Mom looks confused
"Who's coming to school breakfast"
She scans each of her uncles' faces, did she pick them for 'doughnuts with daddy' ?
Uncle Lip, but he's already a daddy, and not hers
Uncle Carl, but he's a cop
Uncle Liam, but he'd insist on dressing up
Uncle Ian, but he'd tell her not to eat too many
Uncle Mickey, Yes!
"Uncle Mickey!"
All eyes on him, and Ian's stupid grin
It's a lot of pressure, but it's Franny
"Heck yeah"
