A very easy mistake to make! It doesn't help that the palid of the skin underneath kind of matches the mask too! Many mysteries...

what does wenzel and gallant's sexual tension look like,,, in a non spoiler way of course

This is such a good question because,,,, there IS actually some sexual tension between the two of them and its so hard to explain without major plot spoilers since its very much revolving around who/what Gallant is. There are other characters in the story that I haven't introduced yet that add to this dynamic too.

Doing my best without giving too much away, Wenzel refuses to look at Gallant's face behind his mask and does not want Gallant touching him. Gallant doesn't quite understand why.

Currently picturing a flock of comely maidens swarming around Sir Gallant and squeeing over him idol style, and Wenzel is fully flummoxed. Not jealous, he's got his vow of celibacy, just confused, because he spends all day with him and he does NOT see the appeal. Like, he watches Sir Gallant hang from the rafters like a bat and swivel his head around like an owl, and he's all, "Him?? Really?"

LOOOOVEEE THIS!!!! I think this is insanely accurate. You just know that all the maidens in town would be curious about a tall mystery knight who is a gentleman and hides his face behind a mask!!

(I have insider info that Wenzel would be more than a little panicked seeing Sir Gallant getting so much maidenly attention haha)

Is Sir Gallant looking for a wife

I think Gallant, first and foremost, is looking for a way to get him and Wenzel out of the city sewers but I think he'd be thrilled to find a wife along the way!

its honestly astounding how you made a guy with a tonsure kind of hot. like really skillful to manage that /gen. ive probably been into weirder characters overall but ive never even considered the possibility of anybody with a tonsure being able to be hot. great work 👍

THANK YOU, I have no idea how I did it either!!! To be fair I've always been intrigued by monks with tonsures and I really adore the design of the monks from the game Pentiment, so that was definitely a huge inspiration. I believe that theres a weird, hot rat energy to Wenzel that transcends his haircut. I'm here to deliver lots more hot tonsure action in the future.

Without giving too much away, I will reveal that Wenzel has seen Gallant without his helmet and armor. Wenzel is actually the one who insists that Gallant needs to keep the the helmet on at all times. I'll let you ponder on what that could mean haha! Thanks so much for asking the question!!

Is the skin book made from the skin of sinners or saints? I'm just curious about how cursed/blessed this item is.

OHOHOho I'm not sure how much I should share because the skin book is very central to the plot of the comic! I think I can say that the book that Wenzel carries around is actually bound in the skin of the person who wrote it.
