The work of Korean artist Seung Mo Park is beautiful but also amazing when you consider how it is created. The portraits are made of several layers of wire mesh that have been meticulously snipped back to create the image. This video shows the work much better than a single photograph can. I was surprised at how neat the sides are and how closely packed the layers are. And as a bonus at the end you see how important the gallery lighting is for this piece.Gallery lighting really can make a massive difference to the impact of a work.
