I can't reply to your reply for some reason and the option was there for someone else yesterday so tumblr is just being tumblr.

Anyway, Rose Tyler. This is so not going to be coherent.

I really used to like her when I first started watching the show but she slowly degraded into nothing but a love interest. Even in her last two episodes, I simply don't care because she doesn't have that much of a character. For the most part she blindly follows the Doctor because he is the Doctor and never grows past that. I am not about to say she doesn't make her own choices and she doesn't hold the Doctor back from doing some stupid shit but it wasn't enough. Characters that have been in one episode were better than her. (She did develop more in the episodes when she kept coming back but by that point I was so done.)

I really lost it though then they KEPT BRINGING HER BACK. I am actually so angry that they are bringing her back for the 50th. Not because she doesn't deserve to be there and Billie Piper is an amazing actress but they have killed the character from over using her. 

People hate Martha because she had a crush on the Doctor because of Rose x Ten, that is not how that works. She didn't know and she met THE DOCTOR. He is amazing, intelligent, downright scary and you can't help but want to know more about him. It is perfectly plausible that she would, he had no control over this. Even better she overcame it and went on to save the damn world and the Doctor in the process. Rose couldn't live without her Doctor, her world started to revolve around him and very little else. No one can convince me that is healthy love either, it was weird. 

I suppose the worst thing though. Is the die hard Rose x Ten fans. The slam every single relationship that the Doctor has with any female on the basis that it isn't Rose. Forgetting that the main point of Doctor Who is change, the show changes, the actors change, the dynamics change. Another reason I hated that Rose kept coming back again and again.
