Synopsis: Gally finds out that you've been kidnapped alongside Minho, and is determined to help Newt and Thomas save you.

Warnings: timeskip because of my laziness (Gally helping them find a way into w.i.c.k.e.d to the boys finding you to the Safe Haven), not fully movie accurate because I don't want to hop between app and website, some references to the book, characters go off script a lil.

As soon as newt says those 7 words:

"'name' has been captured, along with Minho."

Gally's entire world falls apart. It feels like it does. When he saw newt, Thomas, and Fry with some other people he didn't recognise, he was so hopeful that he'd be able to see you again. He hasn't seen you since that night a few years ago. The image of you staring at him in shock and disappointment forever haunted him, alongside Chuck.

His breath hitches for a bit before he continues to breathe normally. He doesn't say anything, but his mind is racing. "Do you have a plan? To get them both back?"

The group is silent, clearly not having a plan in mind. Gally shakes his head. "Have you guys even thought of what to do when you're in there?"

Again, silence. Thomas is the one to speak up. "We need to get inside W.I.C.K.E.D."

Gally nods once in acknowledgement. "I can help with that."

He gestures for the group to follow him. Brenda, Jorge, Newt, and Fry follow Gally, but Thomas stays behind as he hesitates. Eventually, Thomas figures he doesn't have a better plan than what Gally has.

Gally mentions how the Right Arm found him shortly after W.I.C.K.E.D found the group back at the maze, found out he was immune, and patched him up. Gally leads them to an odd looking dude with barely any nose, a blind left eye, and the left of his face burnt. His lips were also burnt, making it hard to speak. In fact, it seems the entire left of his body was burnt.

"we need help getting into W.I.C.K.E.D." Thomas says abruptly. Gally sighs, stepping back. "Gally says he knows a way in."

"hey, no, I sai-"

"Gally should know not to make promises he can't keep." The half-burnt man says slowly. Gally stops his defensive act as the man turns to glare at him.

"two of their friends have been kidnapped by W.I.C.K.E.D, and they want to save them." Gally says.

The man starts slow-talking again, and it makes Gally realise how (name) would've hated how he talked. "that's a very risky move."

Silence between the group. The man nods slowly. "Fine, help them, Gally. But only take two people with."

Gally nods and turns to lead them to a sewer. "This sewer will lead us into the city, close to where W.I.C.K.E.D's building is. We will go there tonight, and I'll explain my plan."

Newt and Thomas look at each other. Newt nods. "Alright."

Later that night, once Gally is out of his gear, he lifts the sewage lid, revealing a ladder and a very nasty stench. He gets down on his knees to climb down the ladder, but Frypan stops him.

"take care of those two, Gally. Please." Fry says. Although it is asked as a question, it is more of a statement. Gally nods. "I will."

After climbing down to the sewage and walking through it the three men finds themselves in the city.

Despite the current virus going around, the city was beautiful. The buildings had lights that match the darkness of the night beautifully, and it was a very minimalistic build. Of course, the W.I.C.K.E.D building stood out the most. Because why wouldn't it? Thomas thought.

Gally leads the two to a tall wall. It has Ivy closer to the top, and no way to climb up. Gally helps Newt up by placing his hands together to create some form of a ladder. which Thomas refuses Gally's help. Gally sighs. What will it take for him to trust me again?

Gally leads them once again somewhere, but seems to finally stop at a balcony. There's a singular telescope standing in the middle, overlooking the W.I.C.K.E.D building.

There is nothing but chaos. Doctors and scientists run down the hallways, trying to find an exit, a way out of the infected building. Not only that, three disguised W.I.C.K.E.D soldiers are attacking. The overly bright walls, emphasized by the lights above, give you a headache. The surrounding chaos isn't any better.

You hear familiar voices yelling, ranging from scientists who tortured you, to soldiers who escorted you to be tortured, to the gladers. You hear Minho yell out in the distance, immediately pounding your bare feet against the cold floor to find him. You skid into a turn to find the famous trio of Minho, Thomas, and Newt hugging.

Your breath is ragged from the running and lack of water of the past few weeks, but you find your voice. "Minho?"

It's small and scratchy. Thomas hears it just as he's about to ask Minho where you are. Newt hears it, too, and turns to the side. There's a moment of silence between the four of you.

Newt is the first one to walk up to you. He puts his arms around you into a hug. "Hell of a time since we saw each other, eh?"

His accent and playful tone makes your eyes watery and vision blurry. The warmth of his body and uniform only adds to it. You hug him back, shedding tears of built up emotions over the last month. Slowly, Thomas and Minho hug you, too.

The moment is ruined by the actual W.I.C.K.E.D soldiers firing their guns. Before you know it, you four are trapped in a room with a bunch of science equipment and shelves with Janson trying to break the door down.

With the giving situation, you have no choice but to jump out the window. Thomas throws a chair to break it, and it falls into the pond a few kilometres down. Everyone looks at each other, thinking the same thing.

Janson has the door open, and is about to break it down, stopped by the shelf in front of it, so the four of you jump. You fall, fast. your landing isn't exactly soft, but it's better than being dead.

Thomas flips off Janson, who is looking over, and it makes you snicker. Though it sounds more like a cough. Just as you get out you are surrounded by W.I.C.K.E.D soldiers again. One tells you to get on your knees with your hands in the air.

You don't know if it's the same guy, but one of the soldiers suddenly open fire on the other soldiers, and takes off his mask. Your eyes widen at the face.

It's Gally. The same one who ignored you when you begged him to go with you, the same boy who was struck with a spear in his lung, the same boy who you had loved.

Gally doesn't say much when he sees you, but you can tell he wants to engulf you in his arms. Minho is standing with utter shock and surprise. "Gally?"

Gally's eyes go from yours to Minho's, and nods in acknowledgement. "Minho."

Gally looks at the chaos above. "You guys are insane."

The wind bristles through the trees, the leaves move gently and the waves crash into each other gently. Nature is gentle, but the people's minds are not.

Everyone is recovering one way or the other. Thomas and Gally are recovering from Newt's death, but you and Minho got the worst of it. You were both tortured and practically on the verge of death everyday, and now you have a friend to grieve.

You have Gally, and Minho has Thomas, of course. But the sting of Newt's death is still there. You miss his accented voice, the British jokes he had, the constant sarcasm on the tip of his tongue. He was there with you, saving you. Now he's gone. It all happened within a second. The image of the light fading in his eyes still haunts you.

It was a little awkward between you and Gally the first few weeks because of the way you two drifted from each other 5 years ago, and the way you reunited a month ago.

You made talk, however. You made a little comment about the pretty sky and ocean, and Gally happened to be beside you.

The swirl of emotions is rough. You are sad about Newt, angry because you couldn't do anything, but confusion topped it both. You felt love, anger, sadness, all at once. But Gally helps you through it.

Obviously, touch and soft intimacy is craved between you and Gally. After those few weeks of awkward silence, he engulfed you into a hug. He didn't kiss you, no, but just his warm touch was enough.

That dream/illusion chapter was stuck in my mind for years and it's making me so sad...It was sweet ! What do you mean the evil mad scientist guy made an illusionary world in which he's living with his opponent as if he was her uncle and works with the not insane scientist guy who's like a father to the little Gally ? Sobbing.
