This escalated from a sketch to something more very quickly but you know what?? I’m actually okay with that. I’ve had this in my mind for a while now an I just have to wonder how she’s doing on her dead planet sometimes

It wasn't good to brainhack people. Of course Galner knew this by now- it was hard enough to meet new people being the only troll on a mostly dead planet, and using her psionics to just tap into some random troll's thinkpan was really no great way to win friends and influence people. But...
This sucked.
Your brain is basically the internet, but you're alone? You have nobody to meme at or even talk to on the daily? It was no way to live! Granted, her makeshift pile of drone corpses was fun, and being able to fly her shit mutant blood color as the planet's new flag was a huge bonus, but fuck if this wasn't boring.
The girl scrolled through trollian handle after trollian handle, heaving a sigh that puffed her bangs from before her eyes. More trolls would just block her if she slid into their DMs- shit man most of them already had. It just took soooooo much more effort to do than just tapping into some fool's pan and saying hi. But, driving some fool insane probably wasn't the right way to go.
Eventually galner settled on a name at random. Either they would message her back or they wouldn't... and, even if that was the simple truth of the matter, it somehow felt much more important and disheartening to think about.

So was the first troll you on your blog and how much did they develop?
[This is a really fun story actually!! The very first troll on this blog was Galner, but not as yall know her today.
This was Galner’s first iteration!
Galner’s character was a boy who was very in to cryptid hunting and was terrified of slendertroll (Which i guess really dates the character because at the time I too was OBSESSED with slenderman)
Over time I made new fantrolls and stopped using Galner in favor of (i guess close to a decade later) Obelus
His original name was Bilius, but I changed it to Obelus after finding out that the name of the division symbol he uses for “I/i” is Obelus! All for a pun about rabbits and mathematics… I also took Obe’s bunny gambit from OG Galner who loved stuffed rabbits and had a bunny lusus (now all given to Obe)
At this point about a year or so ago I re-created Galner. She’s not exactly the same as her first version- she still likes hunting cryptids and thinks that they are very interesting, but now instead of a neon-pink blood she is a limeblood! I kond of combined the look of Galner and his moirail to make her, but she’s developed and changed a lot over time.
She comes with a strange feeling of melancholy now that I think you only get with someone who has accepted her death before it’s even happened… I hope she can her to a place where she sees more value in her life and has a reason to live that’s better than just “out of SPITE, motherfucker”]
