Prospitians and underlings were never designed to be killed though??? O_o Sure they're game constructs, but they're designed for interaction with the players. Quite a big difference there!
prospitians and dersites were designed to kill each other in the war over Skaia
remember WV's story
nobody cares about what they were "designed" for, at least I don't
the game designer isn't a person whose moral lead I would like to follow, you know
the game allows players to take multiple paths, the underlings don't even attack after a little while, and killing them is not ESSENTIAL for finishing the game
seriously, game mechanics that require slaughter of harmless creatures in huge numbers for no other reason than LOOT AND XP irk me in real-life video games too, and are the main reason I don't play MMORPGs anymore. In Sburb it's the same but amplified by 1) underlings not being hostile, 2) the endless possiblities of gameplay not limited by murder hobo mechanics.
YOU WILL NOT CONVINCE ME THAT KILLING UNDERLINGS FOR NO REASON IS OKAY
IT IS NOT OKAY
MANY THINGS ARE NOT OKAY AND THIS IS ONE OF THEM
