I’m really interested in your IF but I’m nervous from the last ask. Is Christianity going to be forced on us often throughout the IF? I have a lot of religious trauma and don’t want my character forcefully converted while reading if that makes sense. Sorry and thanks.

You definitely won't get forcefully converted. If your MC is curious about Christianity, Anne will be very eager to teach you. However, if you aren't, she isn't the type to stuff it down your throat.

You will never be forced to love or hate anything—there is always a choice. So don't worry, mi amour.

Hi! Loved the demo. I think you did a great job with how different the story is if you're male or female. It does make me wonder tho.

Anne seems more nervous when a woman flirts with her than with a man. Why? Is it because she's not used to it from women?

Thyra seems softer to a woman than to a man. Why's that?

I don't think Gungir treats you much different. Will this change down the line? Or maybe I just didn't notice.

Anne is more nervous when a woman flirts with her because she's (supposedly) straight, and a Christian. She hasn't let her attraction to women develop because of her faith so it will take a little while for her to get used to a woman flirting with her.

Thyra is softer to a woman because she gets more nervous around a male MC. If you're a very confident and flirty female MC, she will be just as mean though. She feels the need to protect female MCs because she is a strong believer in girls protecting girls.

Gungir doesn't treat you any differently now because he hasn't realized that you like him or that he likes you. So he acts as though he would with anyone. This will def change down the line, with him having to overcome the shock that a male MC likes him.

will we be able to improve our skills? like if I pick wisdom and intuition as the main skill, can i improve perception and the other ones as well?

Yes, you will!

Every time you choose to use a skill, it raises that specific stat. So, if you use a skill enough times, you’ll become more proficient in it, making it easier to pass checks.

I’ll also add moments in the game where you can focus on practicing a particular skill, allowing you to increase it more than through the way mentioned above.

Of course you'll have a chance to develop platonic relationships with the cast! This game is highly focused on the characters, so even if you're not romancing them, a good relationship is very important to the story. A low relationship is also pretty important, but only if you want to be an evil gremlin.

This is also something I think I need to improve on. I feel like I'm focusing too much on the romance aspect of this game that the platonic aspect is left very lackluster. I'll have to remind myself to even it out in my notes.

Hey love this if, the whole grounded setting is so charming and the writing is on point, the prologue where you’re a child kinda enamoured me due to how authentic it felt, the whole not having context and the innocence of a kid slayed me! Especially considering where it leads…

There’s not enough Viking if’s where you can play a complete disaster. My trainwreck of an mc is looking forward to descending deeper into the madness. My question however is this, how hard will it be to resist the influence of the forgotten? Is there a cut off point? I’m a stickler for angst especially when there’s romance involved and how the crew and RO’s react or interpret it. Will there be a point where we’re past saving and how will that affect agency? Can it get to the point where we’re an unwilling vessel for this force? Can we fight to the bitter end?! I’m thinking about the possibilities and it’s just so juicy! Thanks for reading!

I already have an ending planned out where the madness takes over. Without spoiling too much, there will be a point of no return. It will be too late to fight. Other characters can try and save you, but if you kept refusing their help before, they won’t be successful.

It’s both my favorite ending and the most depressing one.

Are you kidding me? Flavor text? You're getting a whole different path if you play as the same or opposite gender as the RO's!
