Terraria Things 16

Did some Terraria last night. I was going to go my first world, Kaldwind, to try and take on the Eater of Worlds, but I changed my mind. So I wanted to try and fish again. Of course, I wasn’t getting the item I needed, and decided to fool around a bit until the next day that I could do quests again. At my WSB, I had made a...well..not-so-great arena for fighting bosses and invasions. I initially had it so the enemies could activate the traps themselves, but with it came to bosses, the top area’s not great. So I decided to redo my “arena”, and...well...

Don’t you just hate it when you’re trying to build something and when night rolls around, not only does the blood moon rise, BUT THE TWINS DO SO AS WELL!!!

A terrible night, indeed. And I had two terrible non-summoned nights as well.

I wonder if it was because I summoned them the first time after summoning the Eye of Cthulhu a few times.... I almost beat the Twins once, managing to open the mouth of one, but I still died, so that’s a thing. Now I’m worried about a solar eclipse occurring while I’m building. Hmm, I guess a lunar eclipse isn’t as intense as dealing with a solar one. Unless you make moon-related enemies even more insane. I don’t know.

Terraria Things 15

It’s raining skeletons and unicorns!!

Not really. But it did in one of the areas I was exploring last night. It was because of the two statues that were nearby and activated. But what’s better than that is....

I MANAGED TO DEFEAT THE DESTROYER! I’m pretty happy about this since I had lost to it a few times. One down, two to go. After beating the Destroyer, a new NPC arrived! Emeline the Steampunker! 

I’ve also done some fishing, but didn’t get what I needed. I also died a few times, One I couldn’t stop myself from jumping in a pool of water when I saw the trigger for a bundle of explosives...

Terraria Things 11

I decided to go to the dungeon last night. I had no idea it was so huge! But first, yes, I actually had to beat the dungeon guardian before going in. Plus doing it during a blood moon was annoying...I had to free the old man at the place, and almost died the first time. After that, I explored inside, and there were so many skeletons there. I mean, I like skeleton-related things as much as next person (which was how I was drawn to Sans and Papyrus from Undertale when I first played the game), but geez! I had found many water candles causing the massive spawning of them, and had to remove them. I got a lot of new items, as well as two new NPCs! Mervyn the Clothier and Jenny the Mechanic! But....seeing these two appear...my mind is once again trying to convince me to build yet another base....I’m starting to consider it....

Other than that, it’s another successful travel adventure. But, hmmm.. I got some voodoo dolls of Mervyn as well. Tony made an offhand remark about putting a few bullets in a voodoo doll of Jeff. I told him that I’m not going to let him do that, since I have three of them. I’ll have to figure out what those dolls are for soon. For now, I want to figure out how to build my next, hopefully permanent base.

Terraria Things 10

....I forgot to mention that I had found some Teleportation Potions and twice I had been near the edges of Erde (my main world)....

And found some areas of lava.

AND STUPIDLY RODE A RAIL PATH INTO A SMALL PIT OF LAVA.

I wasn’t expecting the freaking thing to be in the path like that!

Other than nearly dying in the hot pit of what the hell was I thinking, I had to dig my way out of one of the random areas I had teleported to into another crimson area. I might fight the Brain of Cthulhu again. Maybe.

Terraria Things 7

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. Been busy with work, trying to finish a chapter for my Undertale AU, and drawing a picture for Mother’s Day as well as one for MerMay, I heard it’s called.

Anyway, so all I did in Terraria tonight was fish, or tried to. Had to constantly fight off enemies just to fish. At one point, I had to close myself off just to do it. I got an Extractinator! I can finally have a use for all of the silt and slush blocks I’ve been getting (haven’t found fossils, though). Had two blood moons, one in which I came across a new enemy: a crimtane bunny. I thought it was some rare animal and was going to catch it with my new golden bug net Jimmy gave me. Nope, it attacked me. Speaking of bunnies, I got a bunny mount! It was an interesting experience.

Terraria Things

So, I’ve been playing Terraria for the past week or so, and here’s what been happening to me, well, me as in Selme Marqui:

1) I died about six times. 2) the most I’ve dug up are dirt and stone blocks. I was lucky enough to find some gemstone types and other ores, but…yeah… 3) I need better weapons and armor! The strongest I got is a lead helmet and a lead broadsword right now. 4) Why are there slimes raining from the sky, what the hell? So many slimes… 5) WHY IS THE EYE OF CTHULU HERE?! I DIDN’T SUMMON YOU, GO AWAY!!!!

So yeah…

Terraria Things 5

....Make that #11.... I GOT BLOWN UP BY AN EXPLOSIVE TRAP!! What’s worse is that I saw a small area that was like a green house. Like literally, I think it was made of emeralds. I had to take out a lot of enemies, but when I got close...

BOOM!

...I’m still trying to calm myself down, that scared the ever-loving shit out of me! I think that’s enough Terraria for tonight... I really hope that treasure chest isn’t permanently gone...I was going to tear the entire house down and grab the chest...

At least I made a new yo-yo...and Garval threw a party after a blood moon that happened before...and found some honey blocks and new torso armor...

Sigh...Note to self... DO NOT GO THROUGH THE FRONT ENTRANCE OF A PLACE LIKE THAT!!

Terraria Things 6

Played some Terraria tonight, and decided to go further beyond the meteor and past a crimson area. I found another small desert area and some of it was crimsoned, too! Plus, I had to rearrange everything again for the new stuff I got. Kept nearly sniping monsters with my Snowball Cannon and just cursing them out while trying to get Shadewood. I do remember getting a Suspicious-looking Eye item yesterday that’s supposed to summon the Eye of Cthulhu (I swear, I’m never going to spell that right, am I?) and I had thought about fighting it, but never got around to do it. I do feel ready to fight it, though. Found some treasure chests, but with not so great loot. Upgraded a few of my weapons, changed out my Amazon yo-yo for a Code 1 one (heh), but...I’ve been noticing an odd symbol in its stats. It was like )|(, or something close to it inside a square. I don’t know what it is. I think there were a few items I saw have this. Odd.

Good news, though! I just found a new NPC out close to a beach area near the crimson realm: Jimmy the Angler! Took him a while to get to my base, but now he’s here! Looks like I’ll have to go fish sometime.
