As I replay through this I realise how much sentimental value Lunar still holds for me, and finding out it's the same for those of you who happen to know this game kinda brings a tear to my eye.
Dragons, Magic, Adventures -oh my! One thing I am loud and proud is that the Lunar series is my most favorite video game series of ALL TIME! 😱💙 Beautiful artwork, magical music, wonderful characters (and some not-so wonderful) and dragon-filled adventures! Guess what? …It’s Lunar’s 30th Anniversary this week so let’s celebrate! 🥳⭐️ Day 1: Seeing @meowabout and her Luna Cosplay at @projectakon was a DREAM come true! And the handmade Nall plush was absolutely perfect! 😭⭐️ A super talented cosplayer and a lovely nerdy family podcaster! 💞Go support @meowabout and classic games like #LUNAR! 🌙 — @lunargamesweek #lunargamesweek #lunarsilverstarstory #lunareternalblue #lunar2 #lunartss #gamearts #workingdesigns #segacd #playstation #ps #ps1 #psone #psclassic #lunar2eternalblue #akon #akon2022 #cosplay #videogames #gamestagram #thegamehers #thenerdybatcave https://www.instagram.com/p/CfDZMBArPGm/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
A bunch of expressions I did of Grandia 2′s sass Jesus protagonist. I drew this a few months ago before the Covid shit happened. He was very fun but kinda difficult to draw, cause his outfit is confusing lol. I mean what’s with the butterfly? I also recently learned what those things on his head were for and not some random head vanity thing lol. (pssst they’re suppose to be goggles according to the concept book)
Was sort of late in the game when I found out about Grandia HD Collection coming out a few months ago. I never had the luxury of owning a Dreamcast. I did like the first game, but I felt the 2nd game had a bit of more interesting character vibes and interactions. I thought the 1st game seems a bit too peppy and the story didn’t really grab me honestly? I like darker more complex themes explored when it comes to story building. Though I didn’t think the story was by all means any spectacular either, it was the localization that surprised me how entertaining this game was. I’m struggling to picture Cam Clarke saying Ryudo’s lines when he goes into motormouth mode. However, even though his design and character seems generic, I can appreciate his growth throughout the game.
Anyway, I’m getting ahead here. Ryudo needs to drink more water. Poor dude. LOL
