Interesting look at Gabriel Knight 2, both in terms of how the game holds up over time and looking at their subtle attempts at LGBTQ+ representation that were limited by the time period it came out in. (1995).
I still wish I could get a copy of the novelisation of this game, which was written by the game designer who is also an author, because I wonder if the novel could be more explicit about the romantic undertones from the game. Sadly it's a pretty rare book and so quite expensive. The one copy on eBay currently is £255 😭
