I’m enjoying Assassin’s Creed Syndicate enough that I’m debating streaming it, but I doubt anyone would be interested in watching me run after treasure chests and giggle madly during carriage races.  (Plus, I’d be picking it up in the middle--I’m in sequence 5.)

Disregard anything I may have said about being half in love with Evie Frye.

There’s no half about it--it’s a done deal.

I even like Jacob much more than expected, and only mostly hate driving carriages.

Bounty hunts, on the other hand, suck.

Huh.  Ubisoft changed the standard AC disclaimer to end in: various beliefs, sexual orientations, and gender identities.

It makes me wonder what in the game made them feel it was necessary to specify that.

I keep trying to play Uncharted like Assassin's Creed. Needless to say, I'm not getting very far. And dying a lot.

Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is a lovely game.

Sadly, the first-person perspective gave me a headache 15 minutes in.

After all my angst over Trespasser crashing, reinstalling it, and still having it crash, I remembered that the game originally crashed right at the start of my final battle with Corypheus.  I went back to the save just before then (about 5 saves back), ran through the battle and end game again, then gave Trespasser another shot.  It loaded this time, so I’m very, very relieved now.

I played just a wee bit into it, just long enough to flail in glee at a scene.  Now that I know it loads, I can go back and polish off the few things I had finished after my original corrupted save, then start Trespasser with confidence.

Decided to poke tentatively at tumblr in the hopes that cat videos and comics would help the annoyance.

Spoiled myself on Trespasser.

...that’s it, I’m going to bed.

Polished off a few side quests tonight, then settled in to start Trespasser.  Picked it at the war table.  DAI crashed.

Reloaded and picked the mission at the war table again.  DAI crashed.

Thought it might be tied to that save game.  Loaded another.  Picked the mission at the war table. DAI crashed.

Rebooted my PS4.  Loaded another save game.  Picked the mission at the war table.  DAI crashed.

Cried.

I’m now downloading Trespasser again in the hopes that reinstalling it will help, because I’m getting seriously pissed off at this point.
