Gamita is not the same kind of alien that Kelvin is (though they are closely related). Gamita is a Grey. Of all the races that have come to earth, probably the most hostile/malevolent. I don't have a name for Kelvin's species yet, but they're pretty chill usually, and smaller too.
The Greys are usually 6-8 feet tall, thin and mostly expressionless. Because of their low gravity planet, they've evolved a spindly form, and often wear supportive suits with unknown metal plating around their thinnest parts to avoid serious damage on higher gravity planets like earth.
Like Kelvin's race, the Grey have telepathic/telekinetic abilities, but to a much much greater and more dangerous degree. Greys have been known to crush human skulls like grapes when cornered as a defense. They have 6 organs in their skull and one in the tip of each finger that have been attributed to their telekinesis. (I didn't show two of them because they're rarely used- they do other kinds of things) They are capable of overheating and emitting steam of sorts when frequently used for large tasks. Many Grey spacecraft crashes have been found where the corpses of the Grey have had horrific burns in these places, presumably from attempting to right their ship through telekinesis or protect themselves with a temporary forcefield.
The Grey are ruthless in their pursuit of knowledge and survival. They are responsible for most abductions and experimentations on humans. They aren't evil, but do not quite understand human emotion, and care little about whether or not they are causing their abductees pain or damage as long as they get their information.
Gamita is one of the only living Grey crash victims to have escaped being taken by the government. Gamita is also one of the only Grey to feel much remorse for causing humans pain and fear. They do not wish to return to their own kind for this reason. They may have even sabotaged their own ship to discontinue the abductions, but Gamita doesn't like to talk about what happened much.
Greys communicate telepathically and can change their perceived voice at will. Some will have a signature "human voice" while addressing humans, like Gamita does. Although the Grey are hermaphroditic, Gamita usually chooses an older woman's voice, but also sometimes goes for gender indeterminate. No matter what voice Gamita uses, they always speak coldly and seriously, only occasionally displaying sadness, fear or anger.
Greys also have little in the way of facial expression, which makes them almost impossible to read from a human standpoint. When a Grey is scared, they will emit fear to other beings as a defense. If you're not shitting your pants in the presence of a Grey, good news, they're probably not feeling threatened by you! It takes a good deal of training to be prepared for this feeling and sometimes it still gets to people. If Grey are angry, sometimes the atmosphere in the immediate area will become lightly charged and occasional crackling may be heard. This is most likely due to their telekinetic organs working.
Their eyes are large and sometimes a small almost imperceptible "pupil" can be seen. This is actually a "second" pupil of sorts inside the main pupil which covers all of the visible eye. Sometimes this secondary pupil will completely close, leaving blank expressionless blue/black eyes. Sometimes in death the second pupil will blow open wide leaving most of their eyes a creepy white. They use the primary pupils for humanoid seeing, though it has been thought they can detect more colors. The secondary white opening is used for another kind of seeing that is currently unknown to humans.
