Rhys stared at the pitch black room. He couldn’t even see Tilly and she was next to him. She sounded like she was still next to him anyway. “The last time this happened, we got stuck in a time loop. What are the odds of it happening again?”
Tilly grimaced at the thought.
“I could run those calculations, but I’d rather not. Hopefully this is something more benign.”
Though during a war, that didn’t happen often.
“In the meantime, let’s see what we can find to light up this place until the backup energy supply kicks in. Where are you?”
She waved her arms around, hoping she wouldn’t bump him too hard if she connected with him.
