This is how I mounted the Gamoh Junior rack to my black Speedwagon. The bottom dropout mounts we're drilled so the axle can b bolted to it directly. I used a 1/8" or 4mm thick hi-tensile steel piece of sheet metal to mount the upper part of the rack to the steering tube. There is almost no flex, and I'm sure it will hold more than 40 lbs now.
