Belladonna Barone’s Bio

Belladonna is the Barone princess, at least of her own family. Bella cousin to the rest of the Barone's that you see around Neptune and the only child that survived. When Bella was five years old, her older brother, who was seven, got sick and died. The tragedy struck the family hard. Both Bella and her brother were blessings to their parents because they struggled to have children. They'd tried for five years for her brother and never thought they would be so fortunate as to have a second child until SURPRISE! Bella was born. After that, they continued to try and try for children but Bella's mother just couldn't conceive. As a result, Bella was cherished beyond belief, spoiled if you will.

Her parents gave her everything she could have ever wanted. She never needed anything, never had to work for anything. So long as she was breathing, she was given anything her heart desired. Despite having every luxury you could dream of, Bella felt empty. As a result, she started rebelling and in classic Bella style, she didn't just sort of rebel. She jumped right into it. It wasn't a casual ascent either. One day she was with her parent approved friends, the next she was trying any drug she could get her hands on, partying and yes, sleeping around. She went downhill fast and her parents were mortified by it. They tried everything they could but Bella was stuck so deep in her rebellion that she couldn't be reigned in.

That's when she met, him. He was charming and always knew how to have a good time. He was an angel with a devil in his smile. He knew just how to give her the thrill she sought so eagerly and he knew just how to play her. He manipulated her into thinking that her actions were of her own decision but in reality, they were guided by him and he guided her right to the cliff. He pretended like he didn't care that she was the heir to a fortune. But he'd had a plan the entire time and Bella played right into it. He made her fall in love with him. Then he asked her to marry him and like the princess she is, she agreed. They were married in a shotgun wedding. They didn't know that her parents had taken steps to protect her inheritance. Her parents mysteriously died of carbon monoxide poisoning leaving Bella devastated. Their last words to each other had been said in anger and Bella believes they died thinking she hated them when truth is, she never loved anyone more.

It wasn't until after their funeral that Bella discovered the truth about their passing, as her husband turned to her in hopes of ending her life. He confessed to the crime and took out two years of frustrations on Bella. When he threw her into the river, he thought she was dead and that he'd be rid of her but the assault didn't go unnoticed and Bella was pulled quietly from the water and rushed to the hospital where she was put under protective custody. The last six months of her life have been dedicated to putting the money hungry monster in jail and divorcing him. She stepped on a plane bound for California the same hour that she signed the divorce papers. Being free of him is enough to make her smile. Bella is ready for a new life and a fresh start. She's ready to get back to a "normal" life. What she doesn't realize is that her definition of normal isn't the same as everyone else's.

Julian Barone’s Bio

If there was a black sheep of the Barone family, it would be Julian. While his brothers have made an art out of being man whores, Julian is quite the opposite and it's not for lack of ability to be a man whore that he is this way. Instead, the middle Barone boy thinks that he should be in love with the woman he's sleeping with. That being said, Julian has been in love three times. The first time was when he was sixteen. She was his first love and she took his virginity but she moved and they agreed that when they were eighteen, they would find each other again but that never happened. For his second love, things started backwards. Julian had a rare moment of weakness and wound up in bed with her for what was supposed to be a one night stand. When she woke the next morning, he'd made her breakfast and was animate on getting to know her better. The two became friends and then lovers until she decided that Julian was not the guy for her and broke it off. The third one was supposed to be the charm but she was the worst of them all. She manipulated Julian, cheated on him, got him into fights and all sorts of trouble. Julian held on as long as he could before he finally had to let go of her. Despite his lack of luck in love, Julian is not jaded. He's perfectly content to wait for the right woman to come into his life.

Another way in which Julian differs from his family is in his original career path. Instead of pursuing the creation of alcohol or food like his siblings, Julian wanted to create music. In fact, he was in a band during his high school years. He's a very talented musician who enjoys creating music. He's been known to get so caught up in the creating process, that he forgets to sleep. Whether it's electronic beats on his computer or strumming out chords on his guitar, Julian has a knack for all things instrumental. If he doesn't already play it, he can teach himself. He was well on his way to becoming someone famous when his father died. At first, it didn't change his career path. He still had plans to play music for a living. At seventeen, he was already making a decent income with a growing fan base but at eighteen, it became clear that his family would need him. That's when he gave up the idea of making music for a living and joined his sister at the family's winery. He still creates music on the side as a hobby and honestly makes great money doing so but he doesn't want to leave the burden of the winery on his sister's shoulders. His fortune and his legacy actually come from his music. He doesn't tour but he still writes and creates music and on occasion, he does special things for his fans like private skype concerts to thank them for their support.

Even Julian's looks are different than those of his siblings. Though he shares traits with them, he got their father's light hair and his crooked smile. Of the siblings, he resembles their father the most. While he can be more quite, nerdy and even awkward at times, Julian still has the Barone charm that gets the ladies to drop their pants and the boys to do whatever the girls want. He just wields this weapon differently from his family members. He is truly kind hearted and probably the quietest of the bunch. He's almost always equipped with either a smile or a vacant expression. He hums frequently and is still guilty of sleepless nights spent making music. He's most definitely the gentleman of the family but don't mistake his cool, kind exterior for weakness. He's not confrontational but that doesn't mean he's a push over. He will stand up for his family and the things he believes in. There is a temper buried deep in there but you have to truly try to get to it.

Bridget Callahan’s Bio

Bridget has always known who she is. She was always that bright, vibrate girl who exuded confidence. Her family has never been overly wealthy. In fact, growing up, they were living paycheck to paycheck and sometimes went without because there were so many mouths to feed and not enough money coming in. But none of the Callahan siblings ever realized it. This was very simply their life. Eight people in a three bedroom house. They were constantly stepping on toes and there were fights but you could feel the love the second you hit the door.

Growing up, Bridget always knew she wanted to work with books. She was a bit of a bookworm but not the nerdy type that got shunned for it. In fact, she was the one you'd come to for advice on which book to read because she always had the best suggestions. When she was in high school, she started a blog to critique books which quickly gain popularity. She continues the blog today, using it for book giveaways and to advertise the books she publishes. That's right, she became a book publisher. But before that, she was a writer. Bridget decided to write a Young Adult series called Fast Cars & Freedom. It did very well, better than Bridget could have ever expected. She went from working as a barista at Starbucks to being able to afford an apartment on the nicer side of town.

While her books were being published, she became enamored with the process. From the editing to cover creation, all the way to the marketing. The first book Bridget published was a standalone romance novel. It was so different from her Young Adult series but she published it on her own, going through the process by herself. To her surprise, she enjoyed it much more than she thought she would. It was costly to her pocket book but when she put the book on the market, it flew off the shelves and made the investment more than worth it. Now, while Bridget does publish one of her own novels about once a year, she spends most her time working as a publisher. She's got her own company, small though it is. Mostly she works with small, independent bookstores because they're still building their reputation. Bridget likes to be involved in the entire process of each book she publishes from the editing, to the cover and even the book launches and book tours. It can keep her pretty busy but that's okay with her.

One thing you might be surprised to find out about Bridget giving her ability to craft heterosexual romances like a dream weaver is that she is gay. That's right. Bridget has a thing for the ladies. She doesn't hide this fact but she's not throwing it in everyone's face either. Professionally, she doesn't feel that her sexuality is anyone's business so she doesn't mingle it with business. She's incredibly professional about it and even when someone tries to put her down, she can just smile and say "Sorry you feel that way" before dismissing herself. Don't be fooled, however. Bridget is perfectly capable of raising a little hell if someone wants to push her. She's not afraid to get in your face but she'll give you the chance to walk away.

When she's not working herself to the bone, Bridget loves the quiet life. She's not the kind of girl who goes out to the clubs or gets wasted. Instead she likes quiet walks on the beach or swinging on a porch swing. No matter what happens in her day, Bridget knows who she is. That's for certain.

Dante Barone’s Bio

In Tuscany, all the father's feared Dante Barone. Even when he was just a toddler on the playground, he knew how to flirt. He was a charmer. All the mothers would giggle during the play dates and gush over what a charmer he was. Even as he grew, they adored his charm. It wasn't until Dante was thirteen years old and breaking hearts left and right that they started singing a different tune. The Barone family was known all around Tuscany for their wine. They were a wealthy family with some of the most famous wine in the country. Their vineyard stretched for miles and was enough for young ones to get lost in. Dante won't admit that he, himself had been lost more than once but he won't let his siblings live down the number of time they were lost in the rows and rows of vines. Dante was sixteen when his father moved them to America, claiming that his intentions were to expand the Barone empire and give these uncultured swine a taste of real wine. They purchased a vineyard a few miles outside of Neptune. It wasn't home but Dante was too young to refuse to go. He was forced to attend American school and witness first hand the American Education System. He would have graduated at sixteen if not for one thing. Her name was Emma and for Dante, it was love at first sight. The first time his eyes landed on her with her blonde hair and her smile, he was lost forever. But she wasn't sold. She'd seen him flirt with the other girls and picked up pretty quickly that he was a heart breaker and she wasn't having it. She played hard to get and the more she played, the harder he fell for her. It wasn't rare for Dante to fall in and out of "love" but Emma ensured it would last. She didn't melt at his smile or drop her panties at his charm. She made him work for it and in the end, she won him. For two years she played hard to get and for two years, Dante chased her hopelessly. He was nineteen when he put a promise ring on her finger. It wasn't just a promise to be true and faithful to her but also a promise to be traditional like she wanted. They were to remain engaged for five years before the wedding. Dante had truly changed his ways. Everyone could see it. He no longer walked down the street eyeing the women or using his charms to get their panties off. He was a changed man. Wanting to make his own legacy and his own fortune, Dante decided to start a distillery. With his parents owning a winery, he wanted to branch of and make his own mark on the world and alcohol was what he knew. He wanted to make something that reflected him more and fine, elegant wines didn't do that. At twenty-one, he perfected his whiskey, putting Barone Whiskey into the market and in the blink of an eye, it was being snatched up and mentioned in songs. It was a finer whiskey, costly and expensive but worth the price according to all the best critics. He slowly branched off and made a few other kinds of whiskey for his line before he moved onto Bourbon and then Brandy. Needless to say, Dante has become very successful in his own right. He was twenty-three when his father passed away from diagnosed Wilson's disease. Before he did, he told Dante to take care of his mother and siblings, something that Dante takes maybe a little too seriously because now, the Barone family owns an entire street, just for themselves. This is meant so the family can be together like the tight-knit Italian family they are but they can also have their own space. He was getting ready for his wedding when his best man came in with a letter and a solemn expression on his face. Dante didn't think anything could touch him the day he was to marry his bride. But she wrote him a letter, revealing that she'd fallen in love with someone else and that she wouldn't be marrying him that day. Dante had never been more humiliated than when he stood in front of his family and friends, thanked them for coming and revealed there wouldn't be a wedding on that day. Dante is now twenty-eight years old. He's spent the last four years drinking his liquors rather than creating new ones. Emma ruined him, however. Because the curves of a woman's body are only enjoyable in the moment. The next morning, Dante always leaves with a bad taste in his mouth. He's far from the man he used to be. He wants a relationship but doesn't know how to let anyone close enough to hurt him.

Royal Hendrix Bio

Royal never had a father. At least if you asked him, that's what he'd say. The truth is that Royal's father died before his brain was developed enough to even retain his image. This has been a defining factor in Royal's life, his lack of a father. Even before they were required to make father's day gifts in preschool and those early years of his education, Royal knew he was missing a father in his life. All his friends had a male role model but his mother was his only parental figure in his life. His sister always tried to tell him about his father, always tried to share her memories with him in hopes to comfort him, but it had quite the opposite effect. Rather that sharing the memory, it was like a slap in the face to Royal that she'd met him and spent enough time with him to know him like that and that Royal had been robbed of his own father. For this fact, Royal has always envied his sister.

Early on, Royal started referring to himself in his head as a bastard. Who was going to teach him to be a man? There was so much he was missing out on and he didn't know who he was because of that key missing person in his life. Society claimed that a boy could not become a man without a father. Because of this, Royal takes his role as man of the house seriously. Perhaps a little too seriously even. He's quick to help his mom with the groceries or replace light bulbs that need replacing. He can do the simple things but it's things like changing the oil in his mom's car that leaves him feeling inadequate and frustrated. Fortunately, he was able to take auto shop his freshman and sophomore year of school and can now help maintain the cars but that's only one piece. He can't fix the garbage disposal when it quits working, he can't replace the door knobs when they break or change the light switches. Times like these, Royal turns into a broody male...if you can call him that since he has no father.

He was three the first time he played soccer. It was the recreational bumblebee league where all the little kids who can run around chase after the ball. There is no positioning, just fun for the kids but Royal found his calling in life. Ever since then, Royal has had a soccer ball at his feet. Even in classes, he rolls the ball between his feet. Between, then, he juggles it and since he was three years old, soccer has been his only love. At least that was until his sophomore year. That's when he met Anastasia. From the first time she spoke to him, he was intrigued. There was something about her. At the time, he was the hotshot soccer star. He had the admiration of his school, the fan girls with their giggles and their support but he wanted her. Despite only being fifteen at the time, he wasn't a virgin when he met her. He'd been with a few girls but she made him wish he'd waited. "If I had known you'd come into my life, I'd have waited for you" He told her once, before sex was ever an option for them.

They started dating at the beginning of their junior year, much to the chagrin of the other girls at the school but Royal had never been happier. Holding Anastasia's hand was worth more than bedding every cheerleader in the county. Seeing her smile was worth the moon. Royal fell hard and fast for the blonde and they made it through junior year strong. Royal struggles with juggling his time between his dedication to soccer - which is meant to be his meal ticket and to get his sister and his mother out of the apartment they're in and give them the life they deserve - his grades and Anastasia. He's grateful she's so supportive of him and his dreams but even though she supports him every step of the way, he can't fight the desire he has to spend every moment he can with her.

As far as Royal sees, Anastasia will be changing her name to Hendrix once he's established enough to have a wife.

Aside from soccer, Royal also enjoys cooking. In fact, he enjoys it so much that he cooks for this family on the weekends. The weekends is the only time he can really cook for them because his week days are so packed with school and soccer practices and games. He rarely has even a moment for himself but when he cooks, he cooks way too much food and he always sings when he cooks. Royal has the kind of voice that could take him far in the music industry but not only is he not interested in being the next Justin Beiber, Royal is pretty stage shy. If he sings around you, he is comfortable around you but he still gets shy if someone mentions his singing at all and will stop immediately.
