Alright so, here's my crackpot theory. We know we're getting a new playable monster, Meteor Temujin, who will have some story elements in the archives though is mostly just going to be there for arcade mode. We do, however, have the little tidbit that Temujin comes into existence about 4 years after the ending of Dawn of the Monsters. We also know from the ending that SOMETHING, presumably Azrael based on the similar eye pattern, is still alive under Bermuda. I think there's a good chance we get a sequel or some story DLC in the relatively near future.
Here's where it gets to crackpot territory... I don't think Conrad Fosco is dead. The last thing we see is him looking out over the Sheol pool right as Azrael emerges from it, and we're told that he disappeared in the ending narration. Obviously we're meant to assume that he was destroyed in the cataclysmic event caused by Azrael, but you know what else can happen to a person who's been exposed to the Sheol pool?
Yeah, I think you see where I'm going with this. That same pool empowered Eiji and turned him into Aegis Prime. Is it so unreasonable that Fosco was exposed to something similar? That maybe you we'll see an anti-aegis in a future story DLC who is revealed to be the Sheol transfigured spectre of Conrad Fosco?
