I actually tried to be nice and give this guy a fair-and-square 1v1, but then his blues showed up to gank me and all my compassion and etiquette went smooth out the window. It was like a cartoon. They just didn’t learn their lesson not to chase directly behind me, despite the Grand Archives by its very purpose being a place of higher learning lol.

This has gotta be one of the weirdest and funniest invasions I had lol. I believe I ran into this host in several incarnations Pre-DLC and he always led a very vicious pack of gankers. I mean seeds (pre-patch), Exile Greatsword flurries, lag switching, disconnecting, spawn killing, you name it. Despite the odds, 9 times outta 10, I managed to teach him and his flunkies a lesson whenever I invade Pontiff's and we have somewhat of an ongoing rivalry. Anyway, I have no clue how a Silver Knight got all the way down to where we were, why one of the whites wasn't attacking (guess he knew this host's M.O. and didn't wanna be a part of it or he remembered me), but it was all very satisfying in the end.

P.S. - I was pointing down at the host. Not you, Garl. ;)

Of course the host ran away to Summon Another Phantom™ once I arrived and the tables were turned. I was literally only one hit away from a pretty satisfying gank spank at the end. Even still, I’m satisfied that it took 5 people to kill me eventually and I took out 3 of them in the process, thanks to the help of the other invader who got swiped by friendly fire more than once and who I failed to avenge. ;__; Win some, lose some!
