Another one written for Round 2 of the prompt challenge over at the freen&becky related gls community. This time I tried for a proper drabble
Prompt: "Could you repeat that?”
“Could you repeat that?”
Despite Sam’s cold tone, the man smiles charmingly. “Of course.” He turns to Mon. “Why don’t you get me a black coffee and whatever Lady Sam wants, sweetheart?
“You want to partner with us because of Diversity Pop.”
“Yes?” the man replies when no actual question follows Sam’s statement.
“She,” Sam turns her head towards Mon, “is the admin of Diversity Pop. A shareholder of the company. Most importantly. My wife.”
“One gesture from her and I am walking out of here and you can forget any collaboration. So. I ask again. Could you repeat that?”
