For those who are wondering, I’m using Garageband 3.05 for my guitar music. It’s been working smoothly for six months, and I don’t really want to worry about software maintenance and updates. This gives me more time to work on music ideas :)
The noise gate function on the GB3.05 is bearable; that would be the only reason why I want to upgrade my computer & software.
I’m also using minimum equipment for my setup. Just a guitar, USB pre-amp, and mini-mac.
