Let’s take a quick tour thru a fashion show... Yes, the competitive side of young fashion models, wanting to outdo the others. Feels kind of fitting for a guitar duel yes?
Composing this piece took some time. It’s not because the dueling part was difficult. There was one measure where I had a hard time deciding how much arpeggio to use. It took me three days to decide to tone things down. It finally dawned on me that repetitive is just not a good idea. Hope the result of this work sounds interesting to you listeners out there...
For those who are wondering, I’m using Garageband 3.05 for my guitar music. It’s been working smoothly for six months, and I don’t really want to worry about software maintenance and updates. This gives me more time to work on music ideas :)
The noise gate function on the GB3.05 is bearable; that would be the only reason why I want to upgrade my computer & software.
I’m also using minimum equipment for my setup. Just a guitar, USB pre-amp, and mini-mac.
Short guitar music/solo to record random feelings and thoughts. East Paladin Gallery is happy to present a series of short musical pieces for the year 2018. These short guitar pieces (or vignettes)
For those who are interested, I keep a music diary on Soundcloud.com. They are short guitar pieces, usually under 2 minutes. Thank you for listening to my noises.
