I made a post about favourite characters earlier and then I just kept thinking about otps and I have a lot of them and it's a complex system XD Generally I have one for every thing I watch but for this post I wanted to list the most important ones:

I know I asked for prompts earlier but I’m not feeling particularly inspired so...

I want to write some sort fics before bed!

Classes are over!!! The semester is not done, I still need my grades, so I can’t give it for finished yet... And I do still have a paper to write, but a really fun one (it’s about The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and if you know me, you know I LOVE the League, and I’m mostly writing about Mina, which makes it even better), and there’s a lot done, since at first was supposed to be handed in today, but it was delayed to Monday

But having this done, I can get back to fanfic, finally!!! :D

First of all, I want to work on Being a Teenager is Like Being a War!! This was a chapter that was going slowly when I first started wriiting it, but it has been planned since the beginning... it’s not a filler chapter, but actual plot - really important things... But hopefully it will go better now...

Secondly, there’s the @alternatesongs challenge, which I'm really excited to write for!! I've still not decided what to write, so I'll think about that, but it's AUs, and that's what I prefer writing 

Thirdly, I'm still in The Catch mood, so I'll definitely try to write something!! I'll try to do it centered around Ben, Margot, and Tessa, but of course, with hints of Ben and Alice, and Margot and Danny :) But it's kind of hard to think what to do, since I'm not experience with trying to come up with crime and stuff like that, but it will be fun to be back in the Shondaland universe, where I started writing fanfic

And then finally, I had started a Gareth/Madalena fic for @regalpotato, because Katie deserves all the love for the amazing part she plays, almost alone, in this fandom, that I appreciate with all my heart. But it wasn't going that well, but I'll try to get back to it this summer

And we still got Gendry/Arya week in mid-July, which I still need to come up with a plan, and then of course the birthday of the AMAZING @xv12 in August!!

Yeah, quite a few writing plans for this Summer, so hopefully I can do it!! :D But by now, finishing that paper first

So in the song “Let’s Agree to Disagree” (which is wonderful), Madalena and Gareth say sing

Madalena: I like eating lightly/ Vegan dinners nightly

Gareth: I like meat with extra meat

And I’ve always found this exchange a little bit weird, because on the few occasions we see Madalena eat -- dinner with Richard and the chicken she has Gareth kill -- she was eating meat. The only other time we saw Gareth eat was the hummus and carrots in season one. That’s pretty much the opposite of what they say in this song. It’s not like they invented a dichotomy fort eh sing, they just seemed to... reverse it?

But then I thought of something. Madalena says in “Joust Friends” that she “[tries] not to think to much about what [she is] eating,” and we know that there’s a shortage of vegetables in the Valencia after Richard’s invasion because he burned them all. So, what if Madalena does in fact prefer to eat more vegetables than meat, but she since she can’t after Richard destroys all the Valencian crops, she sucks it up and eats meat because she’s used to not thinking about it.

As for Gareth, I think that he probably does tend to eat more meat than not, but he does enjoy thinks like hummus (I mean, he makes it himself sometimes) but maybe he downplays it as part of his tough henchman image.

I still find those lyrics a little strange, because the thing with the chicken happens in that same episode... But maybe this is a bit of an explanation?

My first reread of the year of your Garalena fics - they are as GOOD as ever!!! Still leaving a few to reread today and the next few days :) But I was wondering if you were going to update any, especially "Nobility" and "And Lucifer Did Fall"? I just adore them so much, you probably know that, and I just really want to know what happens next!!! But I really hope you're doing great and Happy New Year!!! :D

I’m going to publish this just to say to everyone, I do really want to finish my unfinished Garalena fics (specifically And Lucifer Did Fall - it’s my favourite published fic), and hopefully I’ll get there soon. I keep wanting to write more, just haven’t found the muse to actually get on my google docs and write it. But it’s getting there. So fingers crossed?
