Images from Gamera vs. Garasharp (1991), a short film created for the Gamera Permanent Preservation Plan LaserDisc set.
There is some disagreement as to whether this was an original concept, or based on a Gamera film project that was abandoned when the studio, Daiei Film, went bankrupt in the early 1970s. It is known that Gamera's opponent was to be a giant two-headed serpent, which was referred to as "W," so that may be where the confusion stems from.
Either way, Garasharp looks cool as heck and I hope we get to see him if Gamera ever returns to the big screen.

Alright, time for our next poll!
March 15th marks the 57th year anniversary of Gamera vs Gyaos, so I thought I’d shake up the streak of Godzilla or general kaiju fandom polls and give us all a Gamera-centric one, in time for the birthday of his most common enemy. Hoping this gets some traction despite Gamera not being that popular, come on, let’s spread the word of the turtle-
