Davis - Garcia 04.22.23
Gervonta Davis stopped Ryan Garcia last night in Las Vegas last night. Many people predicted Davis by stoppage - but very few predicted that of the two fighters in the ring, only Ryan would wear a bit of fringe with his trunks. Lets take a look.
Overall - I liked Tank’s look. Green and purple isn’t a color combination you see very often, outside of your grandpa’s early 2000s era Lands End winter jacket. But it is a unique look and his trunks and Grant gloves (w GTD logo) matched very well.
The trunks are Human Made, a Japanese brand I’d never heard of before. I love the trunks -- cool heart pattern, clean striped waistband, no ads. Close up:
The Nike shoes did not match the color scheme, which was too bad.
Overall, however, high marks for Tank.
Ryan wore clean black sequined trunks, a bit of fringe and white trim. He wore white and gold Nikes and bright ruby red No Boxing No Life gloves.
Great trunks from Ryan here. I think he missed an opportunity with his shoes -- simple black would have been fine -- black and ruby red would have been great.
All taken together, the looks were very solid and worthy of a mega-fight.
