Deer don't give a fuck about how much it hurt me when they ate my melon sprouts... A good reminder that life doesn't revolve around me.

This little flower represents a garden fail so pitiful it's funny. I bought 30 nasturtium seeds online ('Bloody Mary' variety). Of the 30 seeds, two sprouted. Of the two, one bloomed. Here it is. At least it's pretty, right?
Not all gardening is a success. Sometimes you have to learn by trial and error. We tried our hand at radishes and it didn’t go that well. But we found out it’s cuz radishes do better in the fall/early spring and fail in the height of the summer heat. Better luck next time. 🤷🏼♀️
Okay I made a HUGE mistake. See that long pot on the ground? Yeah, those are sweet banana peppers.... 6 of them!!! In that small pot!! I am such a fool lol. I just watched a ton of videos on growing peppers and they were all like “Y’all need at least 11 inches between each one” and of course my dumbass shoved 6 of them into a 14 inch pot.
So Tuesday afternoon I’m heading to the Dollar Tree and grabbing 3 of there larger square pots (they’re actually really big) and hoping that there’s enough room for 2 in each one. If not I’m gonna have to say “goodbye” to 3 of my pepper plants.
And since I now need to do that I am actually gonna plant the mint in the long pot that these peppers are in right now. Of course I’m gonna pick up something to place the pot on to get it off the ground.
This is why it pays to do your research. Don’t be like me lol. Also peppers need lots of sunlight so I’m gonna be putting these larger pots on the edge of my patio and hoping that the kids in our complex don’t kick them over or mess with them. Because those little shits are the reason why our laundry room isn’t open 24/7 anymore (because they kept going in there at night and shoving sticks and dirt into the machines).
Okay, I’m gonna go hide under a blanket and think about what I’ve done.
I think I squished ladybug eggs...
I have whatever the opposite of good instinct is. Rolled low on perception and intelligence.
If you're sick of rain, plant a garden. I did and we haven't had rain since!
How many aphids can fit on one pepper plant?
Never. In the history of growing microgreens. Has anyone failed so spectacularly as I have.
These, my friends, are radishes.
