So my res. hall had a planting social and I got to plant some basil and lavender. Except the nights have already been getting cold and seeds need a lot of warmth to grow.

So this is my solution! I washed out the cups we get from the dining halls now (cuz of corona) and repurposed them as coverings over the seeds. The sun gets trapped inside and voilá! mini greenhouse effect!

Only wish I didn't have to find a way to repurpose so many cups... SO MUCH WASTE THIS YEAR! 🤬😭
