Me, seeing the exact same flowers on the exact same plant that my grandmother has owned since before I was born, blooming the exact same time every year:

Garden Idiocy!!!!
Okay, so early in the season I lost a good portion of my sunflower sprouts due to a windstorm, and the rest got thrown away.
Additionally, there are plants in the flowerbed that I've been watching the leaf growth on to see what they'll become.
They're very large and heart-shaped leaves, and they grow in a 2x2 pattern. The stems are sturdy and thick comparatively.
You know what that means?????
They're my missing sunflower seeds.
And they're growing like weeds right under our noses.
I'm just going to leave them where they are and be just as shocked as my grandmother when they bloom.
"Whhhaaaattt??? Sunflowers??? No grandmother, I had absolutely no idea they were there!! My goodness!!! However did they get there????"

The one my grandmother nearly killed and begged me to save? Yeah, it bloomed.

More Garden Idiocy
So for my birthday a few weeks ago, my mom decided that one of my gifts was to be two packages of seeds, one of which was for "tea hibiscus".
I'm thinking they'll be relatively small and easy going, not a big deal, get a trough planter, get them in the dirt, and move on with me life.
Then I actually read the back in detail.
They're full sized hibiscus plants. They'll grow several feet tall. They're basically trees. And they all need 18" by 18" pots. A full package of seeds, at least ten to fifteen, all need that sized pot. Individually.
You know how much dirt I'm going to need for that?? And I'm supposed to harvest the berries from all of them?? Through multiple flowerings??? And preserve them???
Help.
