Possibly failed experiment to make something new with the habanero mezcal. Macerated rosemary, basil, Tabasco and key lime, added equal parts habanero mezcal and vodka, to the shaker and topped off with orange soda water. It’s okay, but missing something. The herbs don’t do as much as I had hoped, and if feels off balance. Muddled some habanero and basil in a shaker. Threw in some ice. Poured a little mezcal in the shaker. Shook it up. Strained as many solids as I could. Topped off with grapefruit soda.
