When you leave the ship for a breath of fresh air, you find yourself suddenly engulfed in a fog cloud. The scenery around you shifts - Where behind you was the ship, there is now no sign of anything from this present era.

You’re standing in the cobblestone streets of an old Alternian city, stone brick castle walls high around you.

You now exist within the space called the hall. Which, in reality, is one of many hallways spanning this hunk of metal you call Hive, floating in the middle of space. Luckily, Jadine isn’t far away, so you catch up to her rather quickly.

“What seems to be the problem here?” You ask, in your best imitation of a docterrorist from TV.

“Wow, I’m both shocked and offended!” You make a big show of appearing so. Look at you, with your eyebrows raised and mouth open in that oh-so-surprised look. Such Shock. Very Offend. Wow. “But here, take it anyway.”

Maybe you’re... a little too forgiving.

Jadine definitely has skill - you were admiring her from where you sat on the rocks, before she totally drenched herself. But you take a moment to ask yourself: if she hadn’t, would she really be Jadine?

“You’d think if you knew you were going to practice with water, we’d think to bring some towels along... hindsight 20/20.” Snicker. “Get it? Because both of us wear glasses?”
