Create a delightful and edible version of garden stones for Mother's Day with this unique fudge recipe. The fudge features layers of chocolate, green, and stone-like colors, making it a perfect treat for garden-loving moms.
Ingredients: 3 cups white chocolate chips. 1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 cup cocoa powder. 2 cups assorted crushed cookies such as chocolate wafers, graham crackers, and Oreos. Edible food coloring green, brown, and gray.
Instructions: Put parchment paper around the edges of a square baking pan, leaving some overhang to make it easy to take off. Put the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and unsalted butter in a bowl that can go in the microwave. Stir the mixture every 30 seconds in the microwave until it is smooth and all melted. Add the vanilla extract and mix well. Put the fudge mix into three smaller bowls. Put cocoa powder in one bowl and mix it in until it's completely mixed in. This will make a chocolate fudge mixture. Put green food coloring in the second bowl and mix it in until it looks like garden green. Put brown and gray food coloring in the third bowl to make it look like stone. As you mix, you can get the shades you want. Put the chocolate fudge mix into the baking pan that has been prepared and spread it out evenly. Third, put the green fudge mix on top and spread it out so that there is room for the stone-like layer. Lastly, put the mix of brown and gray fudge on top to make it look like a garden stone. You can make patterns on the surface that look like stones with a toothpick or skewer. Spread the crushed cookies out evenly on top of the fudge and press them down gently to stick. Put the fudge in the fridge for at least two hours, or until it sets and is firm. Use the extra piece of parchment paper to lift the fudge out of the pan after it has set. To make the fudge look like garden stones, cut it into squares or rectangles. For Mother's Day, serve and enjoy this garden stone fudge!
