I also did some sketches of my ocs within the au for fun and maybe just playing around with my art style and such

holiday toons if they went to catholic hs hcs

inspired by @iovephonic's gardenview hs au!

basically I go to catholic hs and I absolutely adore this au, the holiday toons (Christmas and easter) go to catholic boarding school, I don't ACTUALLY go to a boarding school, I just go to catholic high school LOL. so I spiritually connect with them. I may or may not be projecting...

I also don't specify which class, just that specific subject and if its honors or not I'm not 100% what year all of them should be in

Cocoa:

100% does 3 seasons worth of sports, does sports over the summer too.

fall sports she probably would either soccer or cross country, MAYBE field hockey (less than soccer/xc)

winter sports she would do indoor track

spring sports she would be doing outdoor track too (but I could see her doing lacrosse or softball, but im more inclined to track)

mixed, I can see her being African American, specifically Ghanian or Kenyan, a little (mayhaps) Togolese and French.

always posted up w double dutch braids

a mainly b student, gets a's in her humanities and electives

doesn't really do theatre/arts but joined house management for theatre productions so she could sneak behind stage and bother the other toons (flyte and bassie)

does all star cheer outside of school

always brings 30 bags of food to meets, yes, she will feed the entire team, yes the throwers eat everything clean

genuinely the school baker, she's made thousands of dollars off of selling bonbons.

she makes more than JUST bonbons, she makes brownies, cookies, cakes, etc.

runs a small insta where people order thru dms

friends with literally half the school (through sports and genuinely just being kind)

religiously has double backpacks

probably needs custom made spikes, if she even needs them

her and ginger are on the same all star cheer team

got into the school through athletics, keeps her grades up to keep the scholarships

always got snacks in her bag, usually extras she made for herself and her friends

skirt is hemmed as high as it possibly can without being indecent, somehow never gets dress coded

also religiously wears sweats under skirt, tries to sneak by the entire day w/o taking them off

camps out in either the athletic trainers for shin splints (can she even get shin splints?) or in campus ministry

runs bake sales during the summer for her parish

takes honors Spanish, honors English, honors religion, regular math and science, and maybe an ap social studies, is also taking an athletic training class for her health/pe credit

Bassie:

Straight a student

mixed but mainly white, don't ask

doesn't do any sports but she probably has like so many service hours

also nhs member

frankly she half does it because she feels like its the only way to compare to cocoa

not THAT talented in sports, not like cocoa at least

she is somewhat athletic enough, can run a respectable sub 7 minute mile

she would probably do tennis and/or equestrian

in orchestra, plays the flute

only does equestrian in school, she would play tennis at her country club though, and be good at it.

during the fall she's in marching band and plays alto sax too, doesn't like playing the flute for marching band

probably prez of gardening club

does NOT have her skirt hemmed

she does however always have some sort of white sweatpants under her skirt or school branded pj pants

tries to be nonchalant, lwk just doesn't have friends

(no, I'm not basing the last hc off of one of my classmates)

she's got literally everything in her bag

like I mean everything..

oh, you need gum? she's got u, oh, hair tie too? yep! that too, she's got bandaids, Advil, markers, needohs, snacks, etc.

her locker is like that too..

She's always got her Oxford button up for mass in there, never needs it tho, always has an extra change in uniform and clothes too

probably goes to the same parish as cocoa and the other holiday toons

an altar server (there are female altar servers at my catholic school and at my previous middle school parish, idk abt others tho)

a part of hair and makeup crew for theatre

she has cried during tech week

probably has a really cute pink and green rosary somewhere in her backpack pocket

also has a cute scrapbook when she gets stressed

presses her own flowers for it (her pressing flowers for fun is canon)

also hangs out in mr. eggson's room/office if there's no classes

takes probably all ap's, like her schedule is stacked, ap bio, ap euro, honors French, ap lit, ap calc ab/bc (idk), advanced woodwind ensemble

Flyte:

b student wit the occasional c

doesn't do any sports but still exercises regularly

lactic acid hits him like a truck tho

hangs out in the athletic trainers with cocoa even if he isn't an athlete

yes he hates pe yes he gets pissed off if people are being freaky in the locker room

you can catch him talking to mr. eggson too in his office when he's bored

first people on the bean bag chairs in campus ministry

never paying attention in class lwk but locks in at home

has like zero contacts but his family, cocoa, and bassie

has a good amount of friends and knows a decent amount of people because he's generally a chill person

ambivert, he's somewhat charismatic

I have no clue what race he'd be sorry he's a butterfly

skips class on the occasion

he quit a sport just to be marked absent for classes so he could leave

still stays sometimes cause he feels bad

does costume crew for theatre

afterschool you can catch him in the workshop sometimes or on the arts side of the building either doing set construction or doing stuff for his art classes

I mean you could also catch him at the sports side, a lot of his friends probably hang out there getting ready for sports, he also hangs out with cocoa

probably is a team manager for track cause ion think he has anything better to do

yes he pokes fun at people when they get shin splints

I think he would also play an instrument in orchestra, maybe a clarinet or alto/bari sax (he spiritually presses the keys idfk how he does it)

genuinely becomes a bum during second semester u will never catch him doing hw

god he is fried third quarter

he plays Roblox or unblocked games instead

always got 1 AirPod in

he figured out how to play Minecraft on the iPads on safari

sometimes treats other people like flutter on accident and sort of treats them like a younger sibling because she doesn't go to the same school as him

never has his service hours done and always has to make it up over the summer

Eggson

a social studies teacher, maybe Econ or history teacher

maybe does campus ministry idk

yes he gets off topic all the damn time

his office always is open unless he's in class and he has chocolate eggs in a little ceramic basket from home goods or something on his desk

he always gives out candy during class

probably is a supervisor to like all the clubs, maybe 1 on bible studies and a book club

he has a personal fridge and its all just eggs... like, deviled eggs, soy sauce marinated ones, scrambled, all in the fridge, freshly made too

is it cannibalism?

has bean bags and fun seats tucked into a closet for when students wanna relax in his office while he grades stuff

he also has board and card games in a closet

bassie is in his office the most often to do homework or just talk

she's in there the most out of all the easter toons

flyte got hungry once, came to his office to see if he had food, saw the fridge and immediately left

"damn, guess I'm not *that* hungry..."

gives out communion at mass

Bobette

straight a student

white, Finnish, Italian, and Swiss

she is in the chamber and mass choir, always be singing the gospel acclimation and the responsorial psalm

great singing voice if you couldn't tell

president of the schools biggest service club

does speech and specifically does oral interpretation and duos with ginger

takes OI seriously but does duo for fun

also sings at her parish choir

she also does theatre, is one of the directors fav students

her belt is insaneee

sometimes does plays outside of school when a community college does a play

also has a bunch of service hours to graduate like 4 times over

nhs member too

When she doesn't do the spring musical or winter play she's a stage manager and runs a tight ssa ship

lowkenuinely knows evb and is generally pleasant to everyone

she's not that much of an extrovert, but she's genuinely a kind person

she just crashes out during tech week (completely reasonable btw)

when she actually participates in the play, she usually gets a main role

so jolly when she aint got nothin to be jolly abt (canon won't lie)

teachers really like her

doesn't do anything sports related so she's not the best at pe but she is much more stronger than she is faster

usually hanging out in the arts side of the school with ginger, she sees flyte often there but doesn't really interact with him beyond a smile or a wave outside of theatre

stays after school for like 3 hours after dismissal

goes on every school sponsored/exchange trip

reads at her parish often too, sometimes during school masses

trust she always got the best gifts for her friends' birthdays and Christmas (literally canon tho won't lie)

on top of that she alwaysss has burr/galentines/boo baskets

has like a 4.7 gpa

Ginger:

also sings in the school's mass choir and at the choir with Bobette

goes to the same church/member of the same parish as Bobette, Rudie, Cocoa, and Bassie

Majorette/cheerleader maybe does dance or poms

goes off every single pep rally

does all star cheer with cocoa

always has something to do afterschool

because she gets stressed if she doesn't do anything at all

only bakes for fun doesn't bake at the same rate cocoa does lol

only hangs out with Bobette and Rudie maybe the other holiday toons

outside of decorating pastries, she's a good artist

she sometimes is hanging out in the art rooms

always comes to school in full beat

does makeup for theatre

probably got involved in a big fight during tech week during the spring musical

it's a canon event for all tech weeks thou

she has cried during tech week

she feels really awkward when she does service alone so she tries to sign up when any of her friends do

they actually got to states twice!

(where I'm from my school dominates states, not too sure about where they have school and stuff but MY catholic school always ends up being all of the entries for states)

sometimes hangs out in the athletic trainers too

she took the sports medicine class once and now she's just either there or in an art classroom ngl

3.0-3.6 gpa?
