The HREC (Holodomor Research and Education Consortium) has released a series of fact sheets to help education about the Holodomor. This first series covers the Holodomor Heroes, specifically the "Truth Tellers" – The first journalists to write about the Holodomor.

Above is the first sheet in the packet about Malcom Muggeridge, "the first western journalist through whose eyewitness reportage the UK first learned about the Holodomor genocide."

In addition, the series also covers:

Gareth Jones, "the first western journalist to describe the Soviet Ukrainian famine — the Holodomor — as a man-made famine. He is often referred to as a ‘Hero of Ukraine.’"

Rhea Clyman, "the First Western Journalist to Expose the Holodomor."

Lmaooooooo you really think you did something here, do you? Giving you the benefit of the doubt would be to assume that you are just stupid, and idk how stupid one has to be to say that.

First, Gareth Jones, a Welsh freelance reporter who was in Germany in the early 1930s, reporting on the Nazis coming to power, trying to analyze why it happened and reporting on the nazis beliefs to make the world understand how insane they were, and how horrible their methods were, warning about how dangerous those developments were, for Germany and for the rest of the world. He did interview Hitler and other high ranking pieces of shit at the time, to cite in his reporting. He was very explicitly not a nazi in any way, shape or form.

But thank you for prompting me to read some of his reporting, it's a fascinating look at the era.

Second, I wasn't even citing him - I mentioned him. I don't need to cite a Welsh reporter about something I know about from the actual survivors I grew up around. And from my friends' family stories. And of course there is plenty of academic research, but I wasn't citing any of that.

So no, I was not "citing a nazi". You, however, are showing yourself to lean too close to being either really ignorant, or a fascistic genocide denier.

Depeche Mode slowly emerged as their own selves. Thus, Construction Time Again located them closer to the footing that would bring them towards their longevity. Yes, Alan Wilder proved to be an intriguing musician, though we mustn't forget Martin Gore kept developing his own songwriting skills. They all also noticed they had to forge their own identity after Vince Clarke and they did. While you could still slot a couple of tunes from the LP on a lineup that would've had Mr. Clarke there, many showed the darkness that was not present that much in synthpop. I'm not sure whose observation that was, yet the latter proved to be correct – Depeche Mode had to be the yin to the synthpop's predominant yang, they were the distorted mirror of their scene.
