As an architecture it looks quite alright. It's very disturbing as a gate to church. Unless you don't mind to be in a holy place and get greeted by the heads of demons. Have you noticed it on the picture? I kinda like it and quite don't like it at all. There is a lot of hidden symbolism in sculptures and renaissance architecture around UK, I be paying attention to it and once in a while deliver a photo like this.
