the stuff with graun rodelinda made me think- hey, what if i made garibaldo from the dystopian future adaptation a woman too? and so i gave her estrogen and a slightly different outfit. and now everyone in rodelinda is trans. except eduige and flavio. and flavio is a girl in rodelinda but becomes a man by the time his own opera takes place ( and oh my goodness, i need to rework the visuals for that ), so.
Since today is Sesame Street's 55th anniversary, did a little drawing to celebrate, with Big Bird and Elmo meeting their brazilian cousins: Garibaldo (blue and kinda creepy, but he chill) and Bel (from the 2007 series)
Something silly i did in a community "go paint and socialize" thing on my campus, this was very fun lol, the chaos of a bunch of people wanting the same few paint bottles and the weird conversations topics, gossip and trying to explain in a sane matter why i was painting puppets was way more fun than i expected.

I absolutely loved the DHMIS Tv series and have watched every episode multiple times + every singe meme video that pops on my feed, I’m completely sucked back in, so I felt like drawing some puppets. This is the OG Garibaldo (aka Brazilian Big Bird) and I feel like he would be right at home on some nightmare puppet world
