so .. I had to speedrun him bcuz uh, there was a con yesterday, tickets for which I only bought b4 yesterday and I had..... like 6 hours to get him done??

im not actually DONE with him I have still very big plans for the screen and also I couldn't.. see.. But im glad the antennas are done now!! somewhat

tools and techniques undercut:

antennas are made from retractable sticks(??) i got from dissasebling a lamp that had those. I had them both laying around for a bit in a "future tenna cosplay" stuff bundle an it was "finnally time" lol

balls for antennas are just Styrofoam balls with purple party balloons stretched onto them (I didnt have time to paint lol I had 6 hours to do this)

attachment of antennas is by superglue and drilled holes

the screen is a cut up white tshirt I had (could barely see, even tho it was very stretched out) and held up by duck tape (already started falling apart one day 2)

belt and nose are both just silver and gold paper cut to chape, the nose is holding up by tape and one single pin on the inside, belt is just tape.

the mouth which you can barely see is just paper and tape

i hate javascript but im POWERING THROUGH IT, I HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE MOST BASIC LEVEL CODING BCUZ MY KNOWLEDGE IS FUCKING GONE, i found an exercise for myself and build a stupid click game today, thats better than nothing, ugh, im training my logic and i hate it

My boy is being painted!!

Paint for the back worked EXTREMELY well, and it smells rlly good too :>

But the paint i used for the front it was too drippy, so I will need to sand it dont a bit after its dry, and add a second layer.

The last layer will be uhhh whatver its called but like, seal 🦭 ykyk

update w/o extra post: damn... had to take them inside today, well, figured that i will need to sand and paint BOTH of them, das fine I suppose

its very hard to notice the mistakes mentioned in the previous log, so for now I will leave it be. I also just had to bring it inside cuz the place where it was needs to be used.

I won't touch it for now cuz 1 I am actually quite satisfied, and 2 I dont have time for it rn.

sqz the tone shit rn im a bit glooby.. so glooby in fact that I made my way onto ao3..... what has life come to...... also there needs to be more tenna adoption fics bro I only found like 2 please I need it

Fuckass paint for the front panel is.. ughhh.... Basically, i will need sand it all down AGAIN and then put of layers veeeerrryyyyyy slowlyyyy... anything for tenna

But the back panel paint is working soooo well, it will sit outside for a bit and i might need to rotate it for some fine details and its done, I will put it away so that while I mess around with the front panel it won't be damaged..
