God I never even thought of him as comedic relief. I just thought of him as a genuine and sorta aloof boy. Hagakure was a kinda useless comedic relief that shouldve been offed instead of Ishi tbh!!! Sorry if that’s mean Hagakure but everything would make more sense, even up to Ishimaru’s dad-the cop- being the guy who finds all the survivors in DR:AE, instead of Hagakure’s mom (who I thought was VERY cute). Ishimaru would be a valuable member of the Future Foundation too >:0
i enjoy hagakure and his mom but yaeh.....i also think itd be fun to have hiroko and takaaki interact and kind of clash on paretnal styles (hiroko seems more irresponsible but actually lovng and supportive, while takaaki seems to care a lot but ends up just putting too much pressure on his son)

I mean thats kinda me and im a poor college kid. Its just, thats the only thing that brings me joy so thats the only thing (beside bills/living expenses) i put my money into lmao. Plus being in socal im local to a lot of cons, so i dont have to travel! It unfortunately is super expensive, idk how young teens w/o income travel via plane alone for like 50 cons tho, so i feel.

Ok but ishimaru like sleeping like the dead like not moving or tossing and turning, just on his back breathing thru his nose. And the first time he and mondo share a bed mondo stays up later than ishi and has to constantly like- check if hes still alive bc hes so still.
