One little red. We went to a spot I only go to when everything is frozen over since some of it is inaccessible due to swamps unless they're frozen. There was some squirrel sign but not much, and Ember did find two greys, but they got into holes before I could shoot them.

Flint's first hunt of the season resulted in a state limit in under an hour. Three singles and one split tree.

4 squirrels on this hunt. Flint did well, he had a lot of trees but most were nests or dens.

Had a great hunt with Ember. It was in the low 50's and squirrels were moving. Knocked 4 out within an hour, took a little bit to find the 5th but we got it done. I really enjoy working with this weird dog.

Four squirrels with Flint today.

We ran into a pair of grouse hunters with their Lab. The dogs were chill at first, until I caught up to the group and put my hand on Flint when the Lab came back for a second sniff. Flint decided one sniff was enough and snapped at the Lab. He completely ignored the hunters though.

Saw 3 shot 2. Had a couple dens as well.
