“Fuck!”
Fist hitting the wall, Noah had no time to think about his action - his hand started aching almost immediately, a disgusting cracking noise making him shudder. The pain helped. Noah wasn’t a masochist at all, really, but feeling the pain explode in his fist still helped to take his mind off of the chaos that had made a home in his head.
Too loud. This day, everything was too loud - Noah had gone home early, skipping one of his classes to go and find a place for his head at a place that didn’t feel as crowded as college did. Still, even here, even now, Noah felt like his ears picked up on too many noises from outside. Even the damn ticking of his watch nearly drove him mad - it didn’t take long for Noah to nearly rip it off of his wrist and thrust it far away from him. He was so lost in his attempts to drown the noise in his head that Noah didn’t even pick up on Dmitri entering - ridiculous, really, considering that there was nothing else he didn’t notice that very moment.
