This is just a little basic information about Garnet (because I mentioned earlier that I haven’t written about her in a long time).

Out of all the Pokemon Lucas has befriended, she’s the one he has the strongest bond with. Their bond formed almost instantly when she was a Riolu, and it was only made stronger during the aftermath of the Distortion World.

Aura ability manifests itself differently in each user, and Garnet is certainly no exception. She’s an excellent fighter, and she can track items/people as well (which I imagine to be staples in Lucario as a whole?).

However, her real strength lies in her ability to communicate through telepathy. This is a skill that normally takes years for a Lucario to master, and Garnet managed to get the hang of it within the span of six months.

One of two Pokemon that Lucas has achieved Mega-Evolution with (the other is Apollo, the Gallade in Lucas’ Johto team).

Played a large role in the Eterna Incident (the event that led to the realization that Lucas is an aura user). She searched tirelessly for Lucas when he disappeared, and managed to get him out in one piece once she did find him.

Low-key blames herself for Lucas’ partial memory loss.

She’s as steadfast as her ability implies; through good times and bad, her loyalty to Lucas and her teammates has never wavered. She’d go to the ends of the earth to protect them.

Completely aware of Lucas’ connection with Dialga. She’s always sort of known, really; his aura always did have a sort of draconic feel to it.

Don’t mind Garnet’s staring, Bella. She’s just super curious, is all. She’s also wondering if telepathy would work. She’s found it was different for every person, but it might be worth trying, right?

“...Excuse me. You look a little familiar, have we met before?” It was possible that they had seen each other in passing at some point, because she’d remember seeing another Lucario. But it had been a while since she last saw one....hmm.

Wait, could Barry pick up on telepathy? She never tried with him, so she couldn’t be certain. Maybe she should try showing him where she found the egg? Well, she’d start with a firm shake of her head. That should be as good a start as any.
