The ANCIENT ELVISH RUINS are located in a magical space in the middle of Vievecor City Park and can be accessed by magic or by rappelling down the 32ft/10m diameter hole that appeared next to the treant, Grayalder after they took root in the park.

It is very clear from the architecture of the ruins that this place belonged to the elves, but it is difficult to determine exactly how old they are as the buildings seemed to have been built a very, very long time ago. Not much of these ruins remain apart from a two storey section of a building being the part the remains the most intact.

Some speculate these ruins to be millions of years old, belonging to a time long forgotten... There is not much left inside these ruins after so many years have passed, but what is most impressive is a large mural that still exists on one of the walls in the building.

This mural depicts a time before humans where an ancient war is taking place and it looks to be fought between the deities and demons, with the elves taking either side. An inscription at the bottom of this mural in ancient Elvish script reads 'The Great War'.

This Great War happened in a time long, long past. No elf in existence today would have intimate knowledge of it, but some might have heard tales that almost seem like legend of a war that spanned many, many centuries.

While no living elf will have intimate knowledge of this war, it is possible that some extremely old deities or demons might...

This location is currently restricted to supernatural elders and the elves of the Westwood clan only. It is currently under guard and protection of the Westwood clan with the help of the deity elders. OOC: Players can use the information in this post to plot with other player characters who might have more information about these ruins. Players are also welcome to have characters try to break into these ruins. Should they get caught in the process, they will be dealt with by their respective species elders.

The GAROND DISTRICT HOSPITAL is the city’s human-owned public hospital and is widely called G.D.H. for short.

It is situated near the top of Vievevor City Park and is a very busy hospital with most of the island’s residents opting to go to this hospital in case of an emergency instead of the Crimson Vale because it is more affordable. There is an unspoken rivalry between the two hospitals because of this.

It is not as big as the Crimson Vale Hospital and definitely not as luxurious, but one can find elves, spirits and even deities working here. They are often kept on their toes given how busy it can get.

THE HEREAFTER is a supernatural-only apartment building that sits outside the park within the Garond district and along the border it shares with Hedon.

It has existed in the city since the late 1800s and is currently owned by a demon. This 13-storey residential building is the only building in all of Vievecor that houses purely supernatural residents.

Any supernatural who wishes to live here knows that The Hereafter is considered neutral ground and no fighting is allowed within its walls. Before being allowed to move in, they will need to get in contact with its owner for a screening. The owner tends to be very particular about who he allows to live in The Hereafter and will often do these screenings himself.

The lower levels of the building hold the most affordable 1-bedroom apartments at $3,000/month and the size of the apartments and price to rent will increase with each subsequent floor up to $45,000/month for the 12th floor 4-bedroom apartments. There are two penthouse apartments on the 13th floor and one of these apartments is taken by the owner of the building. The other penthouse is available for rent at $60,000/month.

The employees of the Hereafter are given apartments of their own in the lowest levels of the building for as long as they remain employed.

The VIEVECOR CITY PARK is the biggest park in the city. It boasts large expanses of nature that some humans think seem bigger than what it should be, though no human has been able to prove that just yet.

In actual fact, the elves have enchanted the park with the help of witches to make it a lot bigger than the land size it is on. They also work with the werewolves to look after this park and have used their nature magic to enhance the nature within.

The elves have also created a magically hidden pocket in this park to use as a secret meeting ground for the elder Westwood elves when needed and they have named this space THE HAVEN. Only elves are able to see and enter this part of the park.

The WESTWOOD SCHOOL OF THE ARTS is Vievecor City’s most prestigious art school.

This school was founded in the year 1894 by the founders of the Westwood Theatre, most of whom are elves.

Boasting renowned programs from acting and dance to fine art, fashion and animation, there is little here that the artistically inclined will be dissatisfied with. The professors in this school are famous for producing world-class students and have taught them many innovative and sometimes cited as ‘magical’ ways of creating works of art.

The WESTWOOD THEATRE was founded in the year 1875 by an elf and is Vievecor’s oldest theatre. Its founder was key to establishing the art school of the same name a few decades after. That same elf still owns the theatre to this day.

Popular stage plays and musicals are performed here throughout the year and being involved in any of these stage plays in any way is a huge testament to one’s abilities as an artist.

Humans and supernaturals alike will flock to the theatre when popular shows are being staged. Celebrities are often seen visiting this theatre as a pilgrimage because of the impact it has had in the history of theatre and stagecraft.
