I’m curious... what do you think would happen to a Soul Gem that’s been separated from its owner’s body and turns black while in Kamihama? I know some Doppels need a body to be summoned from and some don’t, so that’s further complication. Do you think just a Doppel would be summoned, or that could be the one way a full Witch could be born within the city?

This is a really good question that I don’t know the answer to. 

Maybe it’d be some horrific body horror thing, where the owner’s body transforms and there’s also something present around the soul gem, but it’s like... a cake where you took one half of the ingredients and baked that separately from its other half.

Oh wait. Actually, come to think of it, I think the Kazumi manga might answer this. The protagonists there separate the soulgems from megucas (a lot of the soul gems were black, so either all of these magical girls were about to witch out or maybe being separate from your soulgem for a while corrupts it?); and I think it’s implied that a girl can’t witch out if she’s disconnected from her soul gem?

Why do you think so many people believe villain redemption and redemption arcs are as common as they think they are, the rule and not the exception?

because steven universe and undertale were popular at the same time. 

that’s it. that’s literally it. that’s the entire “trend.” and some people seem to think that “the b-tier young antagonist who was brainwashed by the big bad” being redeemed is somehow new (in shows like spop, tangled the series, atla, etc), even though that’s a trope that’s been around forever. 

but what really matters is quantity, if you wanna talk about what is “common.” and what’s common is still for the big bad to die / be imprisoned forever in a black-and-white conflict, even if their lackeys survive.

With the Holiday season fast approaching, can we expect a Thanksgiving or Christmas (and other assorted winter holidays) fic reclist in the near future?

Honesty? No. Not from me, anyway. I have very low daily energy for tasks, and I have to determine what things get my focus and energy. Making rec lists is something that I would LOVE to do, but it honestly just takes too much out of me. That’s energy that’s usually reserved for other, more necessary tasks. I DO try to bookmark fics that I read so people can see them, and I’ll reblog or retweet fics when I see posts for them (on tumblr you can see it under my fic rec tag). 

And, uh.... real talk?? I’m not actually a big fan of winter holidays fics. Idk why, I just... don’t really get very excited about them. Not my thing.

There's also the fact that Keith, deserving of Black or not... wasn't with Voltron for at least /two years/ from his perspective, regardless of how long it really was for everyone else. TWO. YEARS. He didn't lead his team, wasn't even a member of his team, didn't even TOUCH a Lion, let alone pilot one. Regardless of whether I think the two year jump thing was utterly pointless and rushed, that's not only 2 years of whatever kind of development we didn't get to see, but 2 yrs he wasn't with Black

While Shiro spent the entirety of S3-6 INSIDE BLACK, WITH BLACK, every second of the time.  

I want people to understand that I don’t hate Keith or anything. I just don’t think he belongs in the Black Lion, especially not like this.  His bond with Red was always my favorite, much more than Lance in Red.  The original configuration with Shiro in Black, Lance in Blue, Keith in Red will always be the most organic for me.  I’ve never felt right since the end of S2 and I don’t think I will moving forward.  

Nobody deserves to be the Black Lion’s Paladin more than Shiro, and to see him stripped out of it like NOTHING HAPPENED and now he just has no connection with Black anymore?  That is dirty.  No two ways about it.  Dirty.

So, was The Stallion Breaker (tm) just another kind of fleshlight/milker thing? And what exactly did the company /need/ to milk stallions for? I have a lotta questions for what might be my new favorite corporation >.>

The Stallion Breaker (tm) is a specialty milker used on the more resistant stallions. 

All the answers aren’t exactly there, but the company was clearly using enchanted items to rile stallions up, only to have them show up and be milked of their potent seed! We’ll have to see where their interests lie with all that cum production!
