Man Shot and Killed at Black Lives Matter Protest in Austin, Witnesses Say the Suspect Tried to Drive Them Down

Police in Austin, Texas have a suspect in custody in the shooting death of a man during a Black Lives Matter protest in the city yesterday.

He was pushing his fiance in a wheelchair. He was her primary caregiver.

UP AND COMING BAND: MESSENGER DOWN

Messenger Down

Located in Concord, North Carolina, Messenger Down first started as a solo act, but lated formed into a band in 2012. Messenger Down consists of lead singer Garrett Foster, bassist Nick Atwell, drummer Bryan Scercy, and guitarist Connor Vogt. In 2012, they released three singles. On June 4th, 2013, the band will release a self-produced eight track EP "The Gentleman's Guide to Keeping Away From People Like You".

Although this band has only been around for just over a year, they have a solid and unique sound. Their latest lyric video to track 3 in their upcoming EP is very well made and it has let the listener further understand words in the song by actually giving them lyrics to read a long with. This song makes us want to sing along to it. You can watch the video here.

Messenger Down's EP will be available for sale on their BandCamp as well as iTunes, Amazon, and other online retailers. Anyone who prefers physical copies will be able to get one once they are released later this year. This is a very promising band and we at Rumored Nights Press are eagerly awaiting the release of their EP.
