Subtle Love

Kate: The bear hunting had been a full success and it distracted my mind from Irina and Sasha completely. I was grateful for the distraction and Garrett always knew how to cheer me up. With a playful grin I jumped off the stable branch after watching his fight with a brown bear. I landed gently onto my feet, right next to him. Looking at his black armless shirt that was completely shredded on the front. "At least its claws didn't catch your beloved coat." I smirked and stepped back, leaning myself against the tree with crossed arms. After a long race through the Denali woods, we had found a second brown bear. And now it was Garrett's turn to feed.

Garrett: Laughing, I looked at Katrina and then pointed to the bear in the distance." That creature has claws, not crawls. Do you think it could crawl me to death?” I asked and then got down on the ground, playing like I was being attacked. “Oh, no mister bear, don’t crawl me to death.” I said and then rolled around to get up, instead of standing up fully. I pushed off with my right foot and flashed off to the bear. Catching it off guard as it was sniffing a tree. . Instead of wrestling it to the ground, I used the momentum of my speed and thrashed its head against the oak tree. Then took a step back and watched as the bear tried to move, but its spine was broken and neck shattered. “Now that’s a clean and efficient kill.” I said with a grin while looking at Katrina, soon moving over and sinking my teeth into the bear’s neck. Feeling its warm and tangy blood gush into my mouth, liquid pleasure gushed from the wound in it’s neck. Yet after a few minutes I pull back and gasped lightly, feeling the soft burning in my throat become bare able. Turning towards Katrina, I smiled and then looked down to my clothes. “ Oh dear, I seem to be dirty. I hope that’s not a problem?” I asked with a grin.

Kate: I chuckled with a shake of my head, looking up to him as I unfolded my arms. "Actually, it's attractive, and that your shirt is shredded, makes it even more..." I paused and glanced down to his chest, studying his skin through the shreds "...interesting." I added with one raised eyebrow and then looked back up to him with a seductive expression on my face. I placed a hand on his stomach, slowly moving up as I stepped closer to him. Right then I noticed the blood stains on the corner of his mouth, for a few seconds I starred at the deep red liquid before I started to look into his golden eyes. Indeed that man was able to drive me crazy in any way possible. Even his famous Cheshire grin was enough to seductive me. I loved everything about him, even his goofy side.

Garrett: My eyes meeting hers and without a moments haste, I leaned down to press my lips to hers. Giving her a soft kiss and pulled away just as quickly. “That was only a taste of what’s to come. Yet you need to work for the rest.” I said and then stepped away from her, grinning the whole time. “Let’s play a little game.” I said and then noticed that she had raised her hand to shock me in a playful manner. “Now, temper Kate. You would want to damage this rugged face would you?” I asked then flashed away laughing, knowing she would catch up to me soon. Stopping at a large tree, I stood there and then laid against the base of it. She would find me and kneel down to inspect my body, I knew she couldn't resist my chest being so exposed. Soon as she would touch my chest, I would spring my trap. My grin vanishing as I heard her footsteps come closer, knowing she would fall for the bait.

Kate: "A little game?" I mumbled to myself and was wondering what he had planned. He really didn't give me time to think about it, I just followed his scent to a large tree. I raised my brow in curiosity, as I saw him laying against the base of it. With a slight smirk, I stepped closer to him and kneeled down next to him, stretching out my palm to the base of his chest. "I still can't figure you out." I grinned. "But you might need a shock of mine. Maybe then you will tell me how you work." I added and looked at his face, which had no expression on it. So it was hard for me to tell what he was thinking or planning. As I looked back to the shredded shirt, I got lost again and I didn't realize that it was his plan to distract me before he would actually strike.

Garrett: I laid there motionless and felt her hand touch my chest. Yet I had to resist a grin as she spoke about shocking me. Suddenly I popped up and wrapped my arms around her, pulling her down onto my lap. Growling lightly and then started to playfully bite into into her neck, soon pulling my lips back and grinning. I loved the shocked expression on her face, yet it was somehow humorous. Since she could shock me at any time, yet she didn't and I leaned down to kiss her nose. “You’re too soft and yet I like it. But you are now my prisoner and you must pay the price for being careless.” I spoke then grinned, knowing she would show me affection for payment.

Kate: My eyes grew bigger the moment he pulled me down, my hands grabbed his upper arms as he bit into my neck. I almost had sent a jolt through his body, but somehow I could hold it back. But if it had happened, he would have known shocking after such a sudden movement was a reflex of mine, to protect myself. After my perplexity was vanished, I looked him right in the eyes, seeing the caring and loving look in them. I had to smile, even though he had tricked me again. But that's what I loved about him, he always got new ideas to surprise me. "You're so silly. We both are, but that's what I love so much about you and why we fit so perfectly together, Garrett." I said and a soft smile spread across my face. One of my hands moved up to his cheek, running my thumb across his rough stubble as I leaned up to his lips, kissing him passionately. We had forgotten about returning home to our family, but we would remember—if we would come back to reality.
