Befriend Me
What was that noise?
The dark haired male turned his head around at the sound of something falling and crashing downstairs. The library had always been a quiet place that he would opt himself for a little read and relax time of his own, and luckily there weren't many people today.
Though the loud crashing sound made his brows furrowed as he glanced around him, only to find empty spaces and he wasn't so sure he should move to look or not. Maybe he should, just in case.
He turned the corner and walked down the small flight of stairs, only to see that right in the rather shady place of the library, there was several books scattered all over the floor, probably falling from the shelf as he could see half of the middle shelf had their books missing.
And on the floor among the scattered books was a girl.
"Ow- ow ow ow..--" She groaned, rubbing the back of her head as he made his way to her, slowly and quietly, not making his presence known until he was leaning against one of the shelf, arm resting on his side the same moment she looked up, her eyes bright and cheerful, not even a hint of surprise to see him there. Was she that used to see a stranger? Or she did this often?
"Need a hand?" He offered, voice polite though he had already extending his hand out for her to take. The girl didn't hesitant as she let loose a small, slightly embarrassed chuckle and grabbed his offering hand as he assisted her in pulling her up. "You okay?"
An enthusiastic nod and a comment of how she was 'fine' was returned in a bit too cheerful manner, making the sable haired male blinked a bit.
...Such a cheerful attitude, given how she just made half of the books on the shelf fall down in a loud thud.
Little did he know that she would have such significant impact on his life later on.
Fight Me
"YOU STUPID CHOCOBUTT!!"
Her voice screamed out and he had to wince from the increase in volume and secretly wishing he was fast enough to actually bring his hands to cover his ears. Though the next moment he looked at her, she already had a blade equipped in her right hand. The one he gave her once they first met at his Kingdom.
"Oi-- You- You are not planning to--- Whoa--!" He didn't even get a chance to finish his sentence that he had to summon his blade out of thin air when she lunged at him with the weapon in hand. Blue aura twirled around his wrist as he lifted the sword up, clashing the sharp metal to the one she slashed down at him.
"Oi--! Calm down! It's dangerous--" Though he knew it was rather futile when she kept lunging at him, her blade determined to actually get him wounded one way or the other. It didn't help that he was the one teaching her how to fight.
And she was certainly his best student on that.
He didn't remember much after that except trying to reason with her while pushing back the sword that she swung at him with all her might. Darn her and her fast learning ability in picking up the fighting skills.
...The last thing he remember was on his back, staring at her expression with puffed cheeks and angry huff, mumbling how he was an idiot.
He didn't even recall what they were fighting about in the first place.
