Format: Website / Algorithmic Film
A film featuring the scenery and landscapes of New York City with a soundtrack from the cut-up audio masterworks of Gary Geiserman at New Metaphysics.
The server would contain hours and hours of different footage that would be algorithmically "edited" together on a dynamic, per-user basis so every site visitor will see a different version of the film. There should be multiple algorithms available for the 'build', so that some of the final products will be based purely on randomization of streams and clips, while others would be based on some kind of waveform and content analysis of the individual audio streams, such that the architecture of the complete piece would emerge from the structure of the waveform.
Each viewing would be its own individual experience of abstract art and metaphysical exploration.
